The server currently has 8 members, but it won't launch until new year. We're trying to find people who make good content and are mature, at least 16 and must have a channel. We only want people who are serious about YouTube, so if you're monetizing your videos with 20 subscribers, we probably won't let you in, but someone with 20 subscribers who makes good content will probably get in, just make sure you're doing YouTube for the right reasons

No what I'm saying is your sub count doesn't matter, just make good content, and the guy who owns the server doesn't like it when small channels with like 20 subs monetize videos he thinks you're doing YT for the wrong reason. As long as you make good content you should be fine.
I'm pretty sure some people who can't get that many subscribers yet would opt to monetize their channel pre-emptively... Hell, I'd do it too, only problem is that my channel can't be verified yet. (I am waiting for next year...) And I mean, how much money is somebody with 20 subscribers going to make anyway? They either have more than 20 or nobody is giving them a sleazy revenue.
I completely get what you're saying, it's just how the guy who owns the server is kinda funny about that kinda stuff but I'm usually able to talk to him about it. 20 was just an example number, your sub count doesn't matter as long as the content is good.

Some things about me: I'm 20 years old, live in the U.S (est), used to stream Minecraft a while back on twitch. On Twitch I have 358 followers and 12,000 channel views. I have 31 subscribers on Youtube currently.
