The bad thing about collabs is the fact of if you can't be entertaining enough by yourself then you're just going to drag everyone down. Yes, collabs are a nice fun way to get entertaining content, but if you can't do something by yourself you're not going to make a very good series, or career so to speak. The one thing to do to keep going is to set a goal, think of something you want to accomplish and strive to do so. If anything, I would look into some of the HQM/questing modpacks and do a series on completing the book. Here's a few good modpack, Regrowth, worldly galaxies 3, Universal: Interdimensional escape, Evolving Technology, Crash landing, Agrarian skies 2. The fact of the matter is, you have to want to keep on playing it, you have to want to keep going back to it, working hard to accomplish it faster. If you're not enjoying your time playing, then if you try to make a let's play then the audience can tell you're being bored.
The computers I have can not run mods well with recording, but they can do vanilla fine.
well there are custom plugins that vanilla can run. There's Hypixel servers that you can play on with mini games and other things like that. If you truly want to make something nice, you just have to do your research.
I may be a week too late to reply and all, but here's what I think. If you're not motivated enough to do a ep 2 of a series, it's simply because you don't like it. And tricking yourself into liking it isn't good for you, your channel or your viewers.
It's important to do something you like, while you meet your viewers expectations. That's why I suggest you don't make any let's plays, but make videos about minigames etc. (I think someone else here already suggested this).
Believe me, you'll know it when you're in love with a series.
