Hey all, I just recently uploaded my first YouTube video - a Minecraft Let's Play video. I'm new at this, so any feedback is greatly appreciated. Basically, I just want a few pointers or tips for being entertaining on the Internet, as well as maybe a few ideas on what I should do in my Survival Let's Play world. Thanks, and happy New Year's!
- Be creative with what your doing your letsplay on, like not many like to watch skywars, hunger games and such like that, it's been recorded and uploaded to YouTube by so many people. If you'd like some ideas on what server niche let me know, but also making content is your own thing, do what you feel comfortable doing, I'm just gonna guide you in ways I know are successful.
- Don't be twelve, don't have ear rape microphone, don't be a squeaker (correlates with number one)
- Try and keep an good conversation going
- Don't make 10 episodes of you doing the same, like I see so many people making vids these days and they spend too many episodes making something as simple as a farm.
- Be creative when it comes to promoting yourself.
I was thinking that I could let my viewers decide on what I do in the series. Like I'd come up with some things to do but it'd mostly be user-guided. I think that's a pretty good idea?

No. If you're making a Minecraft Let's Play, you need to establish that you are a creative person who does projects that you're interested in. If I'm watching your series, I want to watch you play, not watch the audience play through you.
Make Thumbnails, or have someone make them for you. I will do it for free if you need, as i do that for at least 10 youtubers that are starting off. hes a few examples! Msg me if you want me to make you some!

That's actually a pretty good tip. I went back through my video and edited it before I posted it so it meets my standards. Thanks!

Didn't think of it that way. I'll definitely take that into consideration and try to come up with my own ideas. Thanks
