Hey everyone I've done YouTube on and off for a couple years now and I'm in a situation where I'm do it it full time (40+ hours a week)

I have a schedule where I'll be uploading certain series on certain days.

Monday - Mod spotlight

Wednesday - Cubic Blocks (This will be ending in a few episodes and will change)

Friday - Survival Games

and sometimes Saturday.

I'm looking for all advice whether it's harsh or friendly. I have a video uploading today at 3pm where I spent 4 hours editing it and I am very happy of it.

If you would like advice in return, I am more than happy to offer it. Thank you!

The main thing is that there are so many Minecraft YouTubers that its unlikely you'll stand out no matter how good you are. You can get lucky, or if you do something really original then you can get really popular, but its hard. I'd try making a adventure map or redstone contraption (IE the birds in vanilla got the create a TON of subs)

or do games other than mc, you can keep playing minecraft but play other games as well, I will be doing leats plays of crysis 3, and wolfenstein as well as custom zombies maps on waw and minecraft so expand your horizons!

About the thumbnails, do you mean the the older videos I have? Recently i've been doing thumbnails on all of my videos.



And lokiboy12, I agree on the other games. I'll keep an eye out on steam for anything I'll enjoy playing. Maybe I could do League of Legends games too, i've been playing that a long time.

Something I forgot and Lokiboy sort of covered, do other games, and I'd recommend games that are fast pased and not everyone is already playing. Horror games can be ok, but try not to do something if it is completely overdone, or if you do try waiting a bit. Some possible games that I would love to see played could include things like RTS games such as Age of Mythology or if you want a free one, check out Lambda Wars, Survival games such as DayZ, Flight combat games can also work, and I'd definitely recommend anything that would stand out as different. The main thing I would try to stay away from is FPS games, as most find them repetitive and boring to watch.

Luckily i'm not a big FPS guy! I thought about buying a couple of the new zombie survival games that came out, but I can't afford $60 for a game. So i'm saving up for a game I know i'll enjoy that's hyped up. Thank you for the advice again, you're a big help

maybe when you can afford a $60 get arma 3 its a fun game to watch and play since there are so many things to do with it, and if you do dayz, buy arma 2 instead of standalone, and make sure to buy the version that comes with project arrowhead

Your channel is great...and to be honest the only thing I find missing are the catchy thumbnails...maybe update your playlists

Awesome! Any suggestions to make my thumbnails better? I've been working on the last 4-5 videos on making thumbnails and all that. And playlists are a great idea

The advice I would give you would be coming from my personal preference and different viewers may like different things...first I suggest finding a good font for the text...I personally prefer comic-y fonts...second is that to add some effects (filters) to the background to help pop out the text...third is to keep it clean and add only the necessary text...the last one is to add some sort of watermark just in case someone takes your thumbnail (I saw this website where you can "get" thumbnails from videos). I hope I helped

I never thought of putting the watermark and adding something to the background, thank you! I'll definitely do that
