I only have Minecraft video up, but I started the channel as a whole for the new year. I'm just wondering how you guys think I'm doing - audio, commentary, graphics, anything. Thank you guys soooo much!!
I will give you my honest opinion on your channel. With a better mic an a bit of adjusting to recording I could see you being extremely good at Youtube my friend.

Thanks! I don't think my mic is that bad though, it was about a $60 headset...it just somehow happened that my friend's mic was a lot louder in my recent video? I'm not sure. I'll definitely get it upgraded when I can, though!
Video Quality is fine, Nothing bad, It seems to be natural and perfect for viewing
Mic Quality I'd give it a 7.5/10, Mainly because it could be your friend, But it can be fixable
Commentary I'd give it a 6/10 Not to be rude XD I've had the struggles too, but it can be worked on it is your first time and it takes practice, I'm still working on mine too
In overall Your channel could be big, I can see it becoming big and being known to a lot of people, Just wait

Video Quality is Fine, Nothing bad about it and its perfect for viewing
Commentary is a sad to say 5/10 Its more of the fact that your focus is on the game, It would be better if you had a partner to talk to with and have a subject pre-created before you actually start the video
Mic Quality is Normal, Nothing bad, I don't hear any static so that means it's perfectly fine
Overall, You just need a youtube partner, Someone to talk to while you record or record with until you can master Solo Commentary
It will take a while but it would be so much better for your viewers to have an interesting take on both perspectives
OMG XD! Thats exactly how I feel. I have trouble talking when there isn't something right there to talk about. I have a much easier time when i have a partner. Its just hard for me to find someone who is as invested in recording as me.

Obviously the static was annoying but here are my thoughts. Your audio is low and should always be higher than the person you are recording with to ensure this I would advise that you record your audio separately in audacity or something similar. You can also use audacity to remove sounds like your mouse and the static. Also the static is on your end its more prominent in the HG recording but you can hear it in the lord of the files video also.
