Questions: (No need to answer all of them)

- How much memory should the server have?

- I've never watched an SMP, so is it just a normal survival, or are there stuff like shops, minigames, or whatever that changes it from a normal survival?

- What is a good (and cheap) Minecraft hosting service.

There are shops, such as food shops, exchange shops, item shops (Example: Slime balls, redstone, enchanted items...) and a lot of other stuff! Most SMP's have a town where all the people start out with. The towns are usually where the shops are, or in the general vicinity. But, since the town probably won't serve as permanent bases for people, people have actual bases away from spawn. Some SMP's set a base number of blocks someone's base is from spawn, so that they don't meet. The town is mostly for shops. There usually aren't pluggins, but it depends what you're going for.


Most SMP's are Youtuber only, so that people can grow an audience together. I don't know any of the other stuff, because I've never hosted one, I've just been a member of them. I hope I didn't make this too long! Thanks for reading!
