I got obc, free recording software, but when i view the vids, n=everything is frozen. not as in lag, but the vid itself. Is there a simple easy, noob friendly screen recorder for youtube? thanks. (also i want to add text during my walkthrough)
im willing topay for it aswell.
1.) (also i want to add text during my walkthrough)
2. ) Recording Software?
1. ) That involves an editing software, nothing to do with the recording software. If you only want small portions of text just get windows movie maker - Free, Simplistic, and Noob Friendly. Click Here
2.) However if we're talking about RECORDING software - the best software at the moment would have to be Fraps - for its ease; however you must be aware that a 5 minute video can take up several (talking 3-20) gigabytes of space (depending on what you're recording.) The best Free software is OBS - the quality of video is somewhat equal to fraps however the UI and User-Friendlyness of it is a little Meh, but if you can get through all of that OBS would be the ideal choice. I personally have Fraps and enjoy it.
but according to you. OBS hasn't work. this I reccomend something called Debut. It's pretty fairly simple but it'll get the job done, more or less. Click Here
In the future post an issue like this in "Technical Help."
I also use Fraps (record mic audio separately with Audacity, if you want to know how to set this up, let me know) but what your issue might be is your hard drive might not be fast enough to write so much data fast enough. I've heard that Bandicam writes smaller (more compressed) footage, but programs that do more compressing on the fly generally make your cpu work much harder, slowing down your fps in games, this is why I enjoy Fraps, and I have a 2TB 7200RPM hard drive that can handle the large file sizes and write fast enough.
wierd. Deput works perfectly! can I have some nooby tips? Here's my channel, I know it's pretty bad since im new to this, but based off the fact that it's new is it good? here's the channel > https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNRcp3lu6T-fXb4kp8bSySQ please excuse my bit of high voice, My voice is just not naturally low thanks guys!

Cool commands episode, try to record just the game, and not the entire screen (taskbar etc.) to improve video quality, you can most likely do this in post-processing if you have a decent editor as well.
I would recommend Dxtory. its pretty much fraps but you can customize everything about it including codec and whether it compresses while you play etc. It is fairly expensive but well worth it IMO. If you want something cheaper than look up mirillis action. Its video quality isnt as good as fraps and dxtory but it has little performance impact and has smaller file size. OBS is most definitely your best free alternative tho.
Thanks sheep. How do you creat an easy video thumbnail? also what about adding text and intro. what videos are most popular? I just do command blocks and adventure maps right now, is that good? please make it nooby because I'm kind of nooby. thanks sheep

For me, I make my thumbnails by taking an ingame screenshot (just hit F2 in MInecraft to take a screenshot, and find it in the .minecraft folder) and then overlay text for the series name and maybe even a .png image I've grabbed off Google or of my Minecraft skin or something (I do that in Photoshop, let me know if you need more details).
Videos usually get popular if people are confused and want a question answered, find your video in search results and think the thumbnail and video title are very relevant and attractive. Generally, just because of the nature of such videos, tutorials and how-tos get popular. If you want to know what people search for a lot, go to YouTube and click into the search bar, when you type a word it will show suggested sentences to complete the search, you know what I'm talking about. For instance if you type in "how to" the first result is "how to tie a tie" meaning lots of people don't know how to do that and search for it. Other videos that generally get views if you want a lot of views are mod reviews and mod type stuff (that's what I hear a lot, but I can't speak from experience because I haven't played with mods ever really except Pixelmon).
As far as what you're recording and uploading right now, they're fine, everybody can improve of course. Do what you want, someday you'll want to do something else, do that! Do what you enjoy.
Thanks! So I am pretty good at finding things. How about a how to use command block ep. 2,3,4, etc? also what about adventure maps? If I ever get popular i'll give you credits, You're the best mentor ever
