On August 1st IFStudios will be hosting a small Minecraft streaming event, that in later seasons we hope to be largest Twitch Streaming events of Minecraft in Twitch History. I am sure you are all familiar with UHC, or Ultra-Hardcore Minecraft. If you aren’t, basically it is a race to beat the Ender-Dragon in teams of 4-5 against other teams in a 2000x2000 minecraft map. The first team to beat the Ender-Dragon or kill the other teams wins the season and the game, and some really awesome prizes! Streamed through twitch.tv. IFStudios are looking for fellow streamers to join in on the event. Currently there are 25 streamers which will be joining the event by streaming to their own accounts but work in teams throughout the event. There will also be a UHC stream which will act as referee whom will be able to watch teams to make sure they are not cheating and will give viewers a third person perspective of events.
Basically you will be put into a world with the other teams, with an Ender Portal at 0,0. The game master will then bring all the participants into one group on TeamSpeak, then announce the rules. After the rules have been announced, each team will be put into their respective TeamSpeak group and teleported away from other teams. The game will be every day from 8pm - 12 pm EST, until the game has finished. (What time is that your time?) During the game, a moderator from IFStudios will sit and watch your stream to make sure that you are not breaking any of the rules, (No Mods, No Strip Mining, No on purpose Friendly Fire ETC) or your stream isn’t blacked out. If your stream goes offline or the mod is unable to view your minecraft, they will announce in your chat that you have two minutes to fix the issue before you are kicked from the game. At the end of each game, every player will be frozen and kicked from the game, to prevent tampering. Above all, this first season is a test, as we hope to grow this event as large as we can.
