I've tried everything! Every solution I find on the internet isn't helping. I am using Windows 8 with Skype for Windows 7. I have installed Bandicam 1 and 2, changed the sound settings to all the possible configurations, changed all sound settings, and nothing still works. I can hear minecraft and myself, but not skype! If anyone has any solutions, I will be pleased to thank you because I need this for Youtube! Please help!
hmm... You could ask your friends to record the audio and send you the files, or move to something like fraps that can record all the sound your computer makes as well as the game and your voice.
If you didn't find a fix do this: Open bandicam>Video tab>Settings>Set primary sound device to Win7 sound, and then set Secondary sound device to your microphone>Then click ok and that is it
Don't use bandicam, it's just not worth it with all the problems you get with it. OBS is wonderful, it can record everything amazingly well, and unlike with Fraps or Camtasia the file sizes are very managable, so no more 100 gb files for an hour of game play.
So I tried Fraps but it said that my PC didn't have a sound driver so I checked if there were any updates. As it turns out, my drivers are up to date and I don't know why it keeps telling me that. I can't record my mic but I can record Minecraft.

Bandicam picking up game sounds, but not Skype? Sounds like Bandicam is set up wrong.
I can highly recommend Mirillis Action; everyone who says Fraps is best just did a quick Google search and found results from years ago; the game has changed. Fraps is old and crappy with an out of date codec and hasn't been updated properly in forever, it's not worth the money and it's a massive drain on your system's resources(as you noticed yourself, you take a massive FPS hit).
With Action, files are smaller and if you record all system sounds, then Action will record all system sounds - so make sure you don't have Facebook open in the background, and also set Skype to DND or else you'll get all the noise notifications popping up on your recording.
Downsides to Action: it doesn't record in the best visual quality(it's between DXTory and Bandicam in quality) and that really is it. If you can't get Action working then you're beyond help.
