Hello, today I would like to introduce a SMP server for youtubers. This server has been out for a while, and I figured we'd expand our search onto the Minecraft forums.
Before you read this note the following:
- It is highly recommend that you suit these qualities before applying -
14 or older, no one wants to hear a little kid or Skype with him.
Must be mature
Have a good subscriber base (50+ subscribers)
Uploaded videos and fairly decent quality

• State your level of building skills: great builder. Mainly modern styles and castles. Not one to build underground much. I like having buildings above ground. Or even in the sky. Knowledge of buildino just about anything in the game. Any farm or machine.
• State your level of redstone skills: most all of my builds involve Redstone. I like to make things to have a purpose and to be nice to look at.
• Have you ever been banned on a similar server to this: nope never been banned from any server. Mostlyrics host my own due to griefING and stealing and killing that goes on in public servers.
I know I don't have any video yet. I actually had 3 epesodes recorded from my attack of the b team server but had the wrong format selected. Have sense got this corrected and can record great quality using dxtory. I have several editors including 3d editors. Used to do graphic design and toy around with making my own music. Would love the chance to be able to record with people. Solo LP's just don't seem to be as fun as multiplayer ones.

Understandable. Figured I'd at least try. I'll mention it to a couple friends. They do xbox minecraft videos but they might be interested in doing pc stuff. One has almost 9000 subs and the other just passed 30,000.
I'm curious. Since I have no videos, and thus no subs, I'm not eligible, but your post leaves me wondering just what you are trying to do, and how you plan to go about doing it.
I'm curious. I'm not asking for adults, I'm asking for teenagers possibly young adults. I don't care how Mindcrack or Hermitcraft got started. I'm not the owner of this server, but if I was, I would follow the same requirements. I've been on multiple SMP servers, of which have been shut down due to various reasons. Sometimes it is inactive players, or griefing. Mindcrack and Hermitcraft were started before there were a lot of LP'ers on Youtube, but now the site is filled with them. So in the best interest of trying to keep an active server with trustworthy people, we have these requirements.

I live in the UK, GMT.• State your level of building skills: I wouldn't consider myself the best builder, but i'm not terrible. I'm more interested in clay, quartz and etc instead of the classic wood and stone, but I still like building with those materials. It all really depends on what i'm building and where. I would probably rate myself a 5 or 6.5 out of 10 in building. • State your level of redstone skills: Well ever since I bought minecraft I was always intrigued by redstone and loved messing with it, although I wasn't good. I would say out of ten i'm maybe a 6 or 7? A few of my videos show off creations I have made like a sorting machine/gambling machine, I actually have a redstone dedicated channel that you can find here!• Have you ever been banned on a similar server to this? No, never.
(Silly me, had to edit this. I thought the last question as have I ever played on a server like this before. No, I have never been banned from one)
Im also looking for people I can collaborate with, so i'm hoping I will be able to record with some people on the server and etc.

• State your level of building skills: I'm a good builder! I've been playing minecraft for a long time and i've learned allot from other builders! I built mostly medieval times type buildings. Skyrim is where most of my inspiration comes from.
• State your level of redstone skills: I can make a piston door. Thats the top of my skill level with redstone.
• Have you ever been banned on a similar server to this?I've never really been banned on any servers. I've never really played on that many servers over the years. Due to the fact that there's allot of hate and trolling.

However, the question is also a matter of business, because building an invested community is more than having an active and professionally invested group of people. There are patterns that consistently lead to better results (in business as well as YT and the rest of life), and mostly those are caring for the people involved more than the numbers, because the people cause the numbers. It leads to more emotional and social investment from those involved. The friendships and social bonds reinforce the sense of community and lead people to be more supportive, patient and consistently involved. It also makes for better chemistry and commentary, which leads to better videos, views, subs and fun making the videos. That's assuming the rest of life doesn't get in the way and that they don't lose interest, like you seem to have experienced with the other servers you've been a part of.
While I don't qualify, I'd still like to see another server community like those two create great content, because I like watching the videos. That's why I brought up how the other two were started, because it was more community focused, giving a friendlier, more creative feel that people like watching and playing, rather than a number motivated factory type environment. Your first post kinda sounded more numbers oriented than lasting community oriented, and the video seemed more like a Minecraft ad than a server community recruitment video. Now that you've shared the reason for the requirements, it may resonate more with the kind of LPers you're looking for.
