I've set up my Mojang account, and my Twitch account and linked everything. The stream works fine. However, once I hit F6 to start the stream, my game goes from working perfectly to being incredibly laggy. I've been messing with Broadcast Controls, and various other things and nothing seems to help. My computer should be able to easily handle all this, so I really don't think it's hardware. Can someone please help me?

You will need to play around with the streaming options in the Minecraft client. Adjusting the bitrate and compression settings might help. Just play around until you find settings that reduce the amount of slowdown you are experiencing.

I tried messing with those, and I didn't see any noticeable change between all max settings and all min settings at all levels of compression. I found that odd. I figured if it were a hardware problem, I would see improvement with lower settings, but that was not the case.
When I stream, it lags so badly. On Mineplex I'll get in 1st place every round in SG, then when I stream it blows up. I don't want to download any software either.
A lot of games don't take advantage of quad core. Newer ones are starting to take advantage of better processors. You have a decent PC, so I dunno. I recommend OBS or Open Broadcasting Software. You get a lot of control over the stream. Also, this is my 100th post! Woooo! Hope this helps
