Hello, I am looking to join others in their live streams and youtube channels. My primary goal is to meet a few other mature players in the gaming community and see how I enjoy streaming and doing videos myself.
A little about me:
I am a 20 year old female living near Seattle, Washington. I spend most of my days playing a plethora of PC games. Currently I am interested in Minecraft, SC2, Diablo 3.
If anyone is currently looking for a live streaming partner please reply to this thread. I am not quite ready to venture out on my own but would be more than appreciative if I could get started with someone else and get a feel for things.
have u posted any youtube videos yet? i would strongly suggest that u get comfortable with making videos before trying to go live....i started last october and am still barely warming up to the hobby....if u would like a partner in making videos feel free to add me on skype and maybe we can move onto live streaming!
Ah, you don't truly need a partner. But they certainly will help. Although if you do get a streaming partner it'd be best to meet them on the streaming site you wish to stream on. It would also be helpful if the person is a bit known.
Streaming is fairly easy, if needed I could help out with setting things up. But being a girl alone, everyone who stops in your stream will try their best to help you anyway.
Also, in response to this guy above me, youtube video making and live streaming are two similar things, but the difference is not subtle.
All in all it's a fun experience and even if you don't find yourself a partner, the community you'll find is a great one that'll help you in a way that the partner was supposed to.
If you want to play FTB maybe... Skype is in signature.
But I have about 500 subs and 2 twitch followers and no one will really just go to your stream if you're a guy at least, if you're a girl and spam a server chat with twitch and say "gamergirl" or something it's an easy way to get at least a few views. Of course you'll get some comments and ..
But regularly it's a hard place to start off, youtube is much easier. I could probably hook you up with a streaming program and set all the aspects up if needed anyway.
