I want to livestream to my YouTube channel and have it be viewable afterwards. I want voice and good picture. I typically use FRAPS, but you can't livestream with it? So....
The best place to stream to is Twitch.tv.
You can make an account over there and start streaming with streaming software.
I would recommend you download XSplit. It is free and you can stream in 720p with it.
If you really want to stream to YouTube, you will need to be a YouTube Partner. No other way to do it.
YouTube livestreaming is only for partners who earn ad revenue off their videos (at least I think it's only for them.) Gonna have to use Twitch.TV and XSplit/Open Broadcaster Software.
EDIT: Wow, just realized how old this thread is. I'm a dumb.
Youtube changed the way partnerships work, if you have any 1 video that is monetized by you (Have monetization enabled and have at least 1 video) you are considered a partner, that simple.
