So I haven't done anything YouTube wise is close to 2 years. I want to pick it back up but I'm not sure how to go about starting my new LP. So I have a world I've been playing on for maybe a week or so that is pretty cool. And I know traditionally people start their LPs at the very beginning. But hasn't EVERYBODY seen what goes on at the beginning of a new world? Could I just skip to a decent start (like what I have in my current world) and begin the series there and just "update" every on the progress that I've made so far? I have no problem starting over, that's not the point. I'm just wondering what would be more interesting to the viewer? Thank you and if you have anything such as ideas you'd like me to incorporate into the series and my base etc. feel free to leave them below!

I'm going to private all of my old videos when I begin uploading, and those were all my own creations. You have to remember this was 2 years ago. Obviously a lot of people are going to do what I've done before. The only real tutorial that I just passed on was the redstone elevator but that's because I figured people would like to see it. But I was asking for my new let's play series.

You should just start from where you are instead of making a totally new world. Every video appeals to a different audience, so just do your thing!

Thanks man! That's what I figured. I knew that people don't generally care for all the beginning things now. But I didn't want to start from where I was either because I had so much done. So what I did was just make a new world and got to a decent start then began recording. First episode is done and ready to be rendered and uploaded.

Do a different kind of let's play. There are way too many let's plays that are basically people playing the game and just commentating on the video. Pretty much anyone can do that. So think of something no one has thought to do in a let's play.

You could do that, but what you should do instead is instead of planning and waiting a few more weeks to begin recording, get new ideas while you play!
