As a medium sized Youtube channel, and an active Minecraft player. I wanted to know what the general audience liked to watch on Youtube so they can laugh and have fun while watching it. I usually try and mix it up by doing a Mo' Creatures Survival series, Mod showcases, Hunger Games, Mini-games, and Custom maps. But some people might like other things, i was wondering what you guys like to watch so i can maybe improve my videos a little to het to the desired audience. Also, do you like it when there is more than one person in the video and maybe switching perspectives of the people? Comment what interests you!
I generally do videos on tutorials of interesting things, which some people will find useful. But if you really want to get big, you need to show the community what they want to see, which is what got Sky Does Minecraft a crapload amount more subscribers than EthosLab (who does a lot more useful things). Watch their videos and try to pick off of them so that you'll end up as something in between.
Duke said it perfectly. While Sky may have more subscribers, he has a lot of haters too, as compared to Etho, who has less people who like him, but less people who hate him too. Try and watch their videos and try to go for something in between the two.

I usually Watch Skydoesminecraft and sometimes watch Etho, I stated the Mo' Creatures series because of how interesting it looked and fun because of Etho's survival series. And so i started to do other things other than a survival series
You need to find your target audience before you consider what you should do to entertain them. If you are aiming for the 9 - 12 demographic (SkyDoesMinecraft) Then you want to make fart joke stupid videos that appeal to people in that range. If you are going for 13 - 19 (CaptainSparklez, SethBling) You should try to be more serious and talk about more mature material and current topics. And in the rare case that your demographic is older than that: 20 - ???. You better be giving tutorials about how to play games because that demographic in a community like this is minuscule to none.
So before you base your style of video making based on what audience you want, you should consider basing your style on what demographic you currently have existing.

reason sky has more subs is because he isnt a minecraft gamer he is a comedian which is what people like, not cool things to do in minecraft like etho
