Hello fellow Minecraft Enthusiasts, My name is Beth. My Minecraft and Youtube names are Mynahteb. I just started a Youtube account and am starting out with a Lets Play series. I realize there are many out there, but you have to start out somewhere right? I plan to branch out as time passes, don't fret there. I just need to first of all work on building my commentary skills and editing skills up. Something that can make this amusing to watch is that I always play on cheatie-mode (creative mode) in Minecraft, but for the series I'm recording I will only play in Survival mode. I don't want to ask for views on here but be more then welcome to check me out. Possibly leave a comment with a link to your channel if you have one.
Another thing is I'm looking for, other new Youtubers out there just starting out who would like to be on my server and maybe record some videos together and just have fun.
Remember, I'm very new to recording I only have 4 videos up so far, really no need to tell me I'm no different from the millions of others out there. I know. I'm really just doing it for fun and possibly find new friends to join my server and make videos together. So if you're interested in what I've been blabbing about drop me a line either here or on my Youtube channel.
Hope to hear from you soon
Thanks for reading,
Beth
Hi, my channel is pretty old (was made a few years ago) but only recently have I been uploading and tending to my channel.
I'm pretty confident with my editing skills but not so much with my commentary skills. I'm trying many things to be confident with speaking into a microphone but i'm still not up to a professional level. I hope to get up there someday as a popular youtube commentator.
So yeah, my channel is www.youtube.com/gandalf5768, I have a bit more subs but I've been slowly building them up for ages. It'll be quick before your channel gains more fanbase and rockets up in subs and views.
Keep it up beth, your doing great.
Congrats on your first few videos! I just started a month ago so I totally know what you mean. In time, I learned to do better editing, so you'll be a pro in no time!
I checked out your first video, and here are some suggestions:
Video:
You must get the resolution right so that the video fits the Youtube screen! Black borders around the video makes it less attractive to people. You can fix it in your edits (enlarge the video to fit the screen) OR change your screen rez to 1280x720!
Intro:
Make the intro more interesting instead of using the black background with white text. Hmm my intros aren't the best either, but I try to show my Minecraft character so people know who they're watching! :3 Try looking at some famous Youtubers and see how they do it! It's always good to copy someone successful and learn from them!
That's all I have so far since I'm at work and couldn't watch your whole video... but I hope that helps!

I haven't checked out your videos yet, but if you are looking for good software, like screen recorders, editing software, codecs, and all sorts of other utilities for free, check this place out
I would invest in a better mic is my recomendation. I just bought a blue snowball. It's only $70 and is considered the top notch in mics.
