I usually have a face cam for my let's plays, but not on my mod reviews or anything like that. Do people usually prefer Minecraft LP's with or without the face cam? I personally prefer it with it. Also, is it bad to sometimes have it and sometimes not?

Hmm. It depends on the viewers, maybe make it with one video, then one without (ect.).

I would say no. A viewer can either focus on the face cam or focus on the gameplay, but they can't focus on both. The way I see it, face cams are just a distraction, and I personally find them annoying.

There are mixed reviews out there. Here's what I notice: A general Let's Play video doesn't warrant a face cam. Why? there's no need to see the guy's face. As said above, people can focus on one thing.

Now, if you are playing a frustrating dropper map, it might be hilarious to see you getting ticked off. We can all shift our focus as we've seen the death screen plenty of times.

Just think about what it is adding. If it isn't adding anything to the viewership, just show me your in-game video.

In my opinion, I think you should start without first. As you get known...then only slowly change to facecam
