I want good, wholesome, Minecraft survival challenges.
Challenge: play on superflat in hard mode and try to get in the nether (possible but pretty hard)

I could see how it might be possible.. but I would have to travel around to different villages and hope to find a bucket, iron, and/or a full flint and steel in the chests.
If flint and steel isn't available in the chests, there's absolutely no way to obtain flint unless I did superflat world that included gravel, and I'm assuming you mean the normal superflat sandstone worlds.
I might be wrong, but I think one of the villagers trades a flint and steel... but you'd need emeralds to even begin training villagers
For the obsidian.. I could get water from the farm and lava from the black smith and after visiting 5 villages (10 lava source blocks) I'd finally be able to make a portal.
It definately could be done, but that's not something I'm really interested in.

Get redstone, glass bottles and glowstone from witches

Challenge: No going to the surface in the day. You can only come out at night. When you spawn get wood and dig down. Spawn in a clock so you know when you can come out.
Here are some mini-chalanges you can add on for increased difficulty.
#1:
Name: Caffeine Buzz
Challenge: No sleeping.
#2:
Name: Darkness
Challenge: No placing torches, you can use lava, flint & steel. But NO torches. A good idea would be to get some nether rack.
#3:
Name: Village Pilage
Challenge: This one is just more for fun. Every village you see, burn it. Destroy it. Kill all the villagers and take there stuff.
#4:
Name: The Floor Is Lava
Challenge: No touching the floor. You can't touch dirt, sand, gravel, grass ext. You CAN touch stone, cobblestone, wood ext. Use that as a trail to jump on. Like Lilly pads. (Climbing on trees is good to)POST #300!!!!

-You cannot have a permanent residence and you must move every few days.
-You cannot trade with villagers on the account that you are a "Liar"
-You must acknowledge that you are fat. (Not in real life. Or maybe IRL.)
-You must be able to make a nether portal.
-Make a cake (Comes before nether portal)
-In the nether you must defeat a few ghasts using the cake as a weapon.
-During this fight you must scream science related things.
-Final episode: Lay down the cake on an altar and start to eat it slowly as you begin to acknowledge your broken diet.
-Bonus! Beat the enderdragon. Using the cake to break the crystals and the bow to finish the dragon. Or use the cake to do both!
Late-night and I want some cake :/

Roads in villages are made up of gravel so you could obtain the flint that way.
defeat the wither with half a heart, health regen off, diamond sword, bow (infinity, power 4), full protection 5 diamond armor, 10 beef, 12 tnt, flint and steal.
