You might want to develop your personal Youtube channel before recruiting people to join you.
I am not sure if you applied and then remove it but I when off the email. Anyway to address you, I actually have a Channel and a Team Channel my personal channel has 100 subscribers and the Team channel (since we have started making videos, I just letting more people join) we have 18 subscribers. My past experience with almost 10 teams has inspire me to step up my game and create my own team.
PS: I had an old channel, however it got hijacked, so I reset my account. I used to have about two hundred or so subs with at least 5,000 views per video. So I am very experienced.
