Hey guys! This is Theloafobread (I also go by Loaf or Milan (milan is my real name)) here and i am a small gaming youtube channel. I mainly do minecraft but also range between different xbox 360 games. I currently have 92 subs and growing ! I am starting a series called "Loaf vs Youtube". In this series i will be doing a 1v1 with anybody that wants to do it. It can be a 1v1 on any xbox game i have, or any pc game i have. I have all the popular games (Cod, halo, minecraft, etc). I want to do this series with as many people as i can so dont be shy. I dont care if you have 5 subs or 5000 subs, as long as you are a fun person i dont mind. Just post on this topic with the following application: Example app-- - name (or nickname): Theloafobread or Loaf - game you wanna 1v1 in (it must be on xbox 360 or pc): any game - channel: http://www.youtube.com/theloafobread - age: 15 - timezone: central
Thanks in advance! Hope i get some challengers! > - Loaf

Name: SrgtCartman or Alex
Game: Minecraft[PC and Xbox], Counter Strike: Source[PC], Garry's Mod[PC[, or Black Ops 2[Xbox]. (any one would work for me)

If you want people to take you seriously you need to be a bit more open. Nobody can find you from your timezone and age. There is a big difference between 13 and 18. That is why i ask for age. I would like to know your timezone because if you are in europe i need to figure out when i can do the video. Also, you do not have a very professional channel. Im looking for serious youtubers with good content.
Here is a little critique:
- get some more proffessional looking channel art. the banner you have right now is a blurry minecraft picture with distorted character images.
- Remove the borders from your videos. There are black borders at the top and bottom of your videos. There is a larger border at the top. It seems that you are using free recording software such as fraps and are trying to remove the watermark.
- try to use a more up beat voice
Well if you need me I'll be here, I have a nice amount of subs so I can benefit your channel. Territory War 3 is a cool online game you should play.
When it takes you a over a year to reach 180 subs, it is called accumulation. This is when you get a sub here or there and it piles up. Your content is not of quality. Some videos have commentary, some dont. It seems like all of your videos are random and dont have a purpose. On top of that you have that repulsive avatar that would scare away a good amount of subs before they got to your non entertaining content. Then you have a random pic as your banner that seems to be from far cry 3. No offense but it shouldnt take anybody 131 videos to get 180 subs. i am half way there with around 20 videos over the course of 2 or 3 months. To add on to that, a video you posted 3 months ago has 80 views. that isnt half your subscribers. Im pretty sure your "nice" amount of subs wont benefit me too much. I might get 15 more views on a video.
Also, thank you for the game recommendation, i will look into it.
I hope you dont just take what i have said offensively, instead try to use it to improve your channel. If you decide you dont want to pay attention to it you have just wasted my time writing this (5-10 minutes) and your time reading it (maybe 1 minute).

Hmm... not personally interested in participating, but wager the lack of replies is due to your initial reaction to these creators. Generally when recruiting, it's best to keep the public aspect as simple as possible (yes/no), this is to keep from chasing people away.
That said... I actually agree with the sentiment about the channels you 'rejected' - a lot of work does need to be done on them to bring them up to a 'growth standard':
- Supereagen: 180 in a year and a half isn't "terrible", but it's not great (growth is slower at first, but you are struggling much like some youtubers I know with similar mentalities), major thing holding your channel back is consistency, as a small channel growth is generally going to be made in a 'focused' area - choose a specific area to focus on (could do general FPS, could do Minecraft, could do whatever), and have that be your consistent weekly content, with other non-focus content added on outside of that scheduled content. Doing this will serve you two-fold, it will improve your production methods (technique, technology, methodology, and even give you a reliable testbed to work with when looking at ways to improve the overall quality of your content, as it is 'familiar') and it will also give you a more solid subscriber-base to work with when it comes to expanding your content into additional fields. You are a variety gaming channel, at first though you need to be more 'gaming' than 'variety' or you will hamper your growth.
- Minecraftboymod: I found it difficult to watch your videos due to hardware (lag) to a moderate extent, but the major thing that was killing it for me was the audio levels, some work needs to be done to tone down the in-game audio and bring your voice up and to the forefront. I could give more critique after these changes are made - would wager with a better hardware/mic and only a little practice, your content would be much more attractive to your random viewer.
- SrgtCartman: Not too bad actually, you need more practice with the actual commentating, but it's getting there - your equipment does okay for you too... only major recommendations I'd have: Link the channels of the people you collaborate with (and get them to do the same, it may only result in 'trickle views' of about 10% usually, but that's more eyes), also don't worry about doing facecam on things unless it adds something to the final video (you're just wasting your computer's resources if there's not a purpose for it)
- Loafobread: Decent quality overall, major things that need work? Camera Control, enunciation on commentary (didn't run across any solo commentary in a quick skim of the channel, so can't tell if that needs work too), practice will help you get rid of stuff like the "um" situations...
well after reading all those critiques i will like to apply for it soo

Thank you for the tips and i agree with your opinions. I could use some work on my enunciation. Could you tell me what you mean by camera control. Sorry, i dont recognize the term. I dont have many solo commentary videos because i find it boring to make and boring to watch something like a simple minecraft lets play. I plan on doing tips and tricks videos in the future. As far as my "um"s, i have been diagnosed tourette's syndrome which causes "tics". I dont have severe Tourettes but it causes me to involuntarily do things. I also close my eyes tightly when i blink and jerk my head to the right. This doesnt happen constantly but it is the cause of me saying um. In severe cases of Tourettes Syndrome the person will involuntarily curse (yes, i mean say cuss words) at any point in time. I dont have this, but i do say um frequently. I try my best to not do this. Again thanks for the tips. Ive seen you around the forum and it is nice of you to give constructive criticism to people.

well i added the skype "flxnwolf" and they were located in mexico. I was critiquing channels that i did not accept to tell them what i think they should change for me to accept them. I dont really have a critique for you. I guess work on commentating (everybody can do that though, including me). In your survival games video you had breaks where you didnt talk much, maybe write down a topic to discuss to your viewers whether it have to do with you channel, or whats going on with your life or something like "what if aliens invaded selling overpriced donuts?" (i think im gonna do that topic now, lol). Be creative with it. You dont have to talk about the gameplay, you can talk about whatever. I think you have a good start though.
