Nevermind, I have decided to just join a different group.I don't have the time or dedication to lead something like this. Sorry for wasting your time.

Welcome everybody!

I am looking to collaborate with some other YouTubers that are just starting out. I am hoping that together we can produce some videos worth watching and build our subscriber bases while having fun with like-minded people.


However, I do have some guidelines and requirements, as I don't want this to deteriorate into a chaotic mess. I will be fairly selective as to who is allowed to join the group. Even if you don't meet all the requirements, you should still apply if interested.

• Good video quality. At least 720P, preferably 1080P. At least 8mbps bitrate for 720P video, and like 15mbps for 1080P. You should also be getting a smooth 30+ FPS at all times, with minimal black bars on the video.
• Good audio quality. There should be no noticeable background noise, and your voice's volume should be balanced with the game sound properly. There also shouldn't be any major hisses or pops.
• Mature. You should use proper grammar and not act like a complete retard, in videos and on the forums.
• Somewhat deep voice. This will have have to be a bit of a judgement call, but your voice should be tolerable at the very least.
• ~13+. This is more of a guideline than a requirement. If you are 12, but have a good voice and high quality videos, than that would be fine.
• Fairly powerful computer. This goes hand-in-hand with the video quality. Once again, you should be getting above 30FPS at all times, preferably on the "far" render distance. You should also have a fast and stable internet connection so you aren't being disconnected from servers and Skype calls all the time.
• Fairly active. This one isn't too big a deal. I have school, and you probably do too. Just make sure you can talk every once and a while and make videos around once a week.

That should be about it. If I think of anything else I'll add it.


Here is a sample video to show you the general kind of quality I am looking for. It is a few months old, my video quality is a little better and I've found a better way of balancing audio levels in the time since then. My voice has gotten slightly deeper and less mumbly too.





Obviously my video isn't perfect, and I don't expect yours to be either. This is supposed to be a learning experience.

EDIT: Reading this over, it sounds a little picky and over-serious. I don't care as much as it may seem about any of the requirements or anything. This is purely for fun. I just want a group of people that I can relate to.


EDIT 2: Also, if you don't have any series or anything going on, you must still record a video of you playing something with your voice on the video. I need to see your video/audio quality.

AverageMinecraft FPS: 30-50 with Fraps, as long as youtube isnt running while i'm recording, it seems to take up a lot of bandwidth for me, and sucks up my fps

Are you capable of hosting a server: If we're talking about just a survival or creative server, I can host one, and actually have one, though i havent really done much with it other than build a house for multiple people to live in. If its like the Hive or Mineplex, I've never hosted a server like that, but i'm willing to learn
Link to your best commentated video: I havent been able to record, because of some audio issues i was having, but If you're willing to be lenient, i can get you a short video tomorrow. Its 1:30 in the morning here, so I can't record without waking people up. (update: got the video now Sorry it took so long, I was having issues during rendering)

Sounds good. The server hosting isn't a big deal, I can just host for the most part. It was more intended as a general tech knowledge question. As far as the video goes, whenever you can do it is fine. I am not in a huge rush.

Also, I assume you are aware I am only 14 years old? I realized I forgot to mention that in my post. You may be able to tell by my voice in the video if you watched it. Anyway, if you are uncomfortable making videos with someone that much younger I understand.
