Hey people, i recently started a YouTube channel (haven't really gotten noticed yet, at all... ) but anyway, i want to start a lets play, something new, not vanilla minecraft, i want to do a lets play with mods and such (possibly even create my own mods - yes i know how) but im a little suck on what mods to use, plenty of people are doing the big ones (Tekkit, FTB, Aether, And so on) but i want to do something a little different, but something that still wont take away from the vanilla experience, so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas :D. i played minecraft for around two and a half years, then gave it a break, i have recently come back to it and am thoroughly enjoying myself

You could do the yogbox and start a thread asking a few people to play with you. I would play :DAlso, there is a pretty cool modpack called Medicraft, if medieval is more of your style.
Also, if you want to hand pick the mods, you could download forge (You could do it via the technic launcher if you don't know how) and simply choose the mods you want.Personally, I think the SecretRoomsMod is pretty cool.
