To start off, I'm sorry to anyone who was excited about this. We are no longer accepting applications, as the project has been closed, as I posted lower in the thread.
Okay... I'm terrible with titles. Alright, now that that's off to a bad start, let's go into this. Me and my friend, Kazoto, had an idea. What if somebody were to make a parody of an actual movie..... in minecraft?
Let me explain this more. What we plan to do is take the ENTIRE SCRIPT, and condense it down, then parody the entire thing.
What we'll need; First of all, we'll need people who can do the following:
Cameramen! People who can record minecraft in at least 60+ FRAMES PER SECOND! ANYTHING UNDER 60 FPS IS NOT GOING TO BE ACCEPTED.
VOICE ACTORS! This will be extremely important, as we're not making movies without sound.
ACTORS! People who can be on camera! People who are actors can also be voice actors, and vice versa. Just because you are one, doesn't mean you need to be the other, though.
WRITERS! People who can help us condense the script and help us make it funny, or funnier than it is already.
Currently, me and Kazoto are working out what our current goals are, and how many of each people we need. But for now, I'll set up some applications!
Applications!
How applications work;
First, there are general questions. You will need ALL of these in your application, or we will NOT accept you. No exceptions. Then, there are role-specific questions. Only the people going for this role will need these questions. For example, if you were applying to be a cameraman, you would need to have the general questions, and the cameraman questions in your application. Failure to follow the application guidelines will result in your application being completely looked over.

Do you have Skype?
What role are you applying for?
Why do you want this role?
What skills do you have which will encourage us to pick you over another applicant? Cameramen Questions;

When you record, how many frames per second is the recording in?

Several years in the performing arts industry (Musician for 5 years, acting for another few..), and I design thumbnails and help in the creative process for various minecraft youtubers. I also like to put myself in my audience's shoes when doing anything - I mold my creative process to fit whatever demographic I am reaching to.
Writer Questions; What have you written in the past? I have written many small stories (mainly for my own amusement) and dozens of small, humorous poems. What type of writing do you do? For my longer writing, I normally lean towards darker, more thought-provoking stories. On humor however, I tend to be very inventive =) What kinds of things do you find hilarious?Witty Sarcasm, blatant cynicism, and anti-jokes. What makes you, in your opinion, a good writer? I feel that I have an alternative taste in inspiration with writing, so when I do write something, it is different from the typical strain of what you might find around youtube - making it seem a bit more... refreshing?

If I were to apply for the cameraman position, could I also edit the entire thing? One reason would be that I wouldn't want to send you gigs and gigs of Fraps footage that's at 60fps and therefore even larger than files at 30fps.

I meant to make a formal post earlier, but other things got in the way.
As an apology to anyone who got excited about this, and was let down by our lack of responding to most of the applications, we're sorry.
It sounded like an extremely good idea at first, and I strongly encourage anyone with the time and motivation, as well as the organizing skills required, to attempt this. But as I'm hinting, I don't have the time to organize this, then set it up, then produce it, edit it, upload it, etc. Another problem is my lack of motivation ;). I can't speak for Kaz, but personally, I'm going back to school, and as such, will be a lot busier and not have time to produce this.
Again, sorry everyone who got excited about this.
