Famous (or not so much) words spoken before every one of my videos. Youtube is an INSANELY tough crowd, with your videos not being noticed, quality not up to snuff, and such. i am no big youtuber, i'm pretty much one of you if you came to post your new channel. what i want to do is to create a place of learning, a place to bounce off each others critiques and better ourselves as a whole. All you have to do is post your channel, I (hopefully more in the future) will take a look at it, tell you what could be improved, from a viewers standpoint, and maybe i'll even subscribe if your channel appeals.
To show my openness, i'll start by posting mine, this is not me trying to get subs, this is me trying to help you new guys that i see starting everyday. I've been doing this for about two months, but i've reached a point with the advice from others to where my channel quality is really good ( I hope lol).
Once again! i want to stress this is not about me, its about you!
to get this started ill check back consistently and post replies
IMPORTANT EDIT!
I greatly underestimated the number of you that require help! I will definitely try to reply to everyone, but maybe you guys could help each other out? like if i haven't responded to someone yet, help a man out lol.
Lol thats really funny! although i did not understand czech i took note of a few things, the intros on some of your videos give it a sense of effort, good thing, just add a little fade between the intro and the video, you can do that in the default youtube video editor. also i noticed you have the old youtube layout, if you prefer it, thats fine. the new one however does give your channel a bit more coverage of your content, if you don't wish to switch, something that could add a bit of channel charisma is to add something to the info on the left of the featured page. that way you could reach out to unsubscribed people looking at your channel. Having a pleasant channel can really improve whether or not someone would sub. just hashing out what i see lol, i hope you can benefit from this!
Well looks like you have a lot of work to do! lol, but I know where you're getting at. This kind of support really helps
Mine Channel (almost 3 years in the running!): http://www.youtube.com/user/dawnydawny123
Took a look at your channel and at your newest minecraft video. Now channel wise, i see some clutter that could very well deviate people from subscribing. i am a firm believer in professional presentation, organizing your videos that don't pertain to certain categories and such. what i did enjoy from minecraft episode 3 was the use of editing the video. the good: the little status bar at the top left when you were herding sheep. that really put a great deal of immersion into the video, the bad: what i did notice was quality of the microphone, it interfered with your commentary and your communication with the viewers. at times i could not understand you. a quality mic can really make the difference in your sub count. sometimes investing is necessary, but breaking the bank isn't. a good cheap quality mic that i could recommend is the Blue snowball microphone, relatively cheap, around $60.00, i recently purchased the Blue yeti, which runs around $80 - $100 dollars, i'll link both down below.
also, i'm sure you know, but a gaming rig that can deliver high frame rates also definitely increases the quality of all builds, and makes recording much more pleasurable.

Thanks for the tips! I'm going to be looking at getting a better set-up once I put a few more videos out. I'm not doing this channel full time, but once I am, I'd like to have a more professional set-up. My laptop almost 3 years old now, it might be time to replace it in the next year or so. I've just posted a new video today, if you'd like to check it out.
what i see here is a very attractive channel, artistic banner, custom thumbnails, and intros, god i wish i had intros lol. YOur channel is pretty much set up to grow, maybe a mic upgrade would work, but anything else you improve on comes from your own experience, good luck!
Check us out! We're a community that grew from a faction on a server! Currently we only have four videos up (I think the oitc one is the funniest), so please, check them out and give us some feedback! We have a lot of work to do for the channel (ie. thumbnails, intro, outro, more videos), so it'd be appreciated if you helped us out! We're also looking for people who can do that thumbnail/intro/outro work (or teach us) so if you can, or know someone who can, do contact us. Anyway, thank you for reading/watching!
What could be done is an increase in channel quality, at the moment when i arrive at your channel, it feels cluttered and messy, an upgrade to the new layout does make youtube more beginner friendly and can be more aesthetically pleasing. If you upgrade, you can organize videos by playlist, you could basically have your minecraft and other videos organized separately. you could also find someone to create thumbnails and banners if you can't do them yourself. increasing your presentability will drastically increase whether or not someone will decide to subscribe, Good luck!

Hey there, i checked out your channel. i clicked on a minecraft video, what i noticed was the very long time length, around an hour. that can be an immediate put off to some, almost encouraging to skip ahead. you must captivate the viewer, not bore them. i would keep them down to around 20 minutes, give or take 5 depending on the day. also, try to organize your channel, make it so when someone clicks on it, they get a quick rundown of what you are all about. try a little editing. as ive said to others a quality mic is very important. you should also begin the video talking directly to the viewer, especially in multiplayer situations. in the adventure map video, i could not tell which person speaking was you. i would get a more attractive banner. try some of these things, they will greatly affect the outlook of your channel. Good luck!
