For example, should I edit out gathering resources like wood? What about digging long tunnels and mineshafts?

It Depends on The situation. Say youre mining for a good 20 mins straight. i doubt anyone would want to see that for 20 mins. So Edit it out. If you keep dying over, and over, and over, then edit it out. Like i said, depends on the situation
