It's hard to find that 'difference' that people want in Let's Plays especially for minecraft. I've been recording my own LP single player minecraft and Im thinking, why would anyone want to watch it?

I think I just want it on my channel, and I'm enjoying it. So maybe that's all that matters.

What do YOU do to make yourself different in minecraft? OR more interesting. Any pointers?

Perhaps add some mods that you like, if not, I have a crap ton of fun mods to add to it, also, add a texture pack if you don't have one and also, have your subscribers suggest things for you to do and create achievements for yourself

Good idea, but I pre-record episodes as I dont have much time...in regards to asking feedback. I think I might do just a plain minecraft playthrough, my channel is reasonably new anyway so I'm sure people don't care. I just want it there to show I have played it...

Maybe get in to mods later =D I do have a server im recording stuff at the moment, feel free to check it out and thank you for your help

I looked at you channel, didn't see anything about a server and By the way, no offense but I kind of found some of he videos on your channel "interesting" but that's just my opinion, no biggy, lol. Hope you do well on your channel

One of the weird things about youtube is that you can make what you enjoy, and there will be people on there who will want to watch it (you just have to find them).

Honestly the best advice I could give is do what you enjoy in the game, and be yourself - even if it doesn't get a lot of views, as long as you have the time to spare for it, and you enjoy it - it's not a waste. (if you were doing this as your source of income, it would be different, but with a normal channel - it's all about what you enjoy and want to share with the world)

Yea I agree with Alzorath. Make your videos and just enjoy it. There are over 5 billion people on this planet. Trust in the numbers that you will get a following on youtube. The more videos you make, the more people you will gravitate to your channel. It just takes time.

Another nice way to set yourself apart is to focus on a wide variety of things. LP-ing games, mods, or maps with less publicity will put you closer to the top of the search bar, and can potentially get you closer with the creators of said maps/mods. If you're set on doing the popular stuff, the best you can do is to try and have your videos released as soon as possible, which will also give you a better chance of being found by more people. I'll admit it's never worked for us but it still makes sense, right? =P

I can completely agree with this and all of the comments above. I suppose that's what I've been doing and I'll keep it up. I have plan for more games in the future but I dont want to do too much at once, haha.

Subbed, but I do love to do LP's. Simple way to get content. But you need to do other stuff as well. And for the LP itself, mods is a good idea. Or get someone else to do the LP with you, have someone to fall back on for awkward silence moments. Some of my best commentating was with a friend, I need to do that more on my channel.
