Hey guys, I have a Minecraft Tekkit server that is professionally hosted and I'm looking to start a Tekkit series with some fellow Youtubers. There will be some requirements with your Youtube channel that I am going to be enforcing, just so that it is fair for everybody.
I'm just going to put the requirements here so you don't read a bunch of text if you are ineligible.
REQUIREMENTS:
-At LEAST 500 subscribers.
-Have skype
-Be at least 16 years of age
-Have a legitimate copy of minecraft
-Have a gmail account (I'll be using google calendar and google docs to organize).
-Being able to record (I plan on having us each record and post them online at the same time so that nobody gets ahead)
I am actually going to enforce these, so if you do not qualify you do not need to keep reading. I'm not trying to be a ***** about it, but I see that so many people not follow their requirements and that is unfair to the people who do qualify.
My plan is to have us in either two or four groups, we will discuss this. The goal of this will be that each team will try and achieve dominance over the other(s) by legitimately building up our technology and arms. Does your team choose to focus on magic or science? Weapons or defensive units? All of them? There will most likely be a time period of non-violence, and the goal isn't to be a PvP server, there aren't going to be flat out brawls. More like a game of Civilization, you try and build up your technology and then use diplomacy, not swords (though if it comes to it, nukes are always an effective diplomatic action).
In order to make it fair for everyone, I'll setup times that we can have the server up so that one team won't play for 24 hours straight will the other one doesn't (not that every team member has to be on if we agree to it).
Nothing is set in stone (except the requirements as I previously mentioned) so the way that this is played out can be completely changed around.
Let me know if you are interested, here is a form to fill out to show that you qualify.
