Hey there everyone!

Before I start, this is NOT a "will u be mah partnur plz" thread. And if I put this in the wrong section, forgive me.

I'm interested in starting a Youtube channel for let's plays and reviews and the like. I'm thinking about playing Minecraft and maybe a few indie games (I love indie games). However, I am not willing to use a microphone or a webcam, and I'm not willing to partner up with anyone else.

I really don't want to be too mainstream, so does anybody have any ideas for what I could do?

Are you a hipster? What do you want us to do? Send you a nice little hundred dollar microphone? Buy you a recording software? Go ask your mom, kid.

I'm sorry if I gave the wrong idea in my first post. I have everything I need to get started (recording software, games, etc). I just want some ideas/advice on how to get my channel started, what kinds of videos I should post, stuff like that.

And if I need anything, I will go buy it. I'm really not THAT desperate.

Hipster to the max my friend but besides that point i would say to work with as many people as you can and meet new people
playing by yourself can only take you so far but if you need an new idea its hard to come by now at days but i would say just have
fun with your channel

I just want to start out playing by myself. I've seen quite a lot of "get famous on Youtube" guides saying that the most important thing is to "come up with something new", but I'm pretty sure most of the ideas I have are already in action.

This is not a thread saying how to start a new channel, but it's a thread about what to put on a new channel.
