If you've got an adventure map, or maybe a video series or something similar that you'd like a cinematic trailer for, then you're in the right place.
I've been doing video editing for a few years, mostly casually, but semi-professionally once or twice. I like making trailers so I figured I'd offered to do trailers for people if they're looking for it.
I also compose some original music for my own videos and would most likely compose music for requested trailers as well, unless a specific track is already provided.
All I ask in return is a credit and link to my YT channel wherever you post the trailer
How to Request
I'll try to keep this simple, so please provide the following as a minimum:
Name of the Map/Series/Whatever you want a trailer for:
(Please provide a link to it)
What mood/theme would you like for the trailer? (i.e. should it be suspenceful, action, quirky, etc. A few words to describe the general theme will do)
Do you have a specific music track in mind? (As stated above I can compose music, but if you have a specific track in mind this can help simplify things. Please provide a link and the track must be available for use either in the public domain or via a relevant license that you own.)
Any specific scenes/areas you'd like to be included? (If theres a specific location on your map you really want to show off, or a boss, etc. Or just generally any vague ideas you might have already. If none specified I'll use my best judgement)
Any time constraints I should be aware of? (This is mostly for my benefit, if you desperately need a trailer by tomorrow and I'm busy for example, I'll know I'll sadly have to turn you down for example :P)
I think that pretty much sums up all I think I'll need to know, will edit this post if that changes.
A "portfolio" of sorts!
Some examples of editing and music as used in my videos below, just click the spoiler button:
Minecraft Flyover, set to music I composed. This is used as the intro to my LP Series, as you can see at the start of Episode 21 here:
An intentionally melodramatic montage of me dying and losing my stuff in the nether, from my LP. It starts at 11:25 and again the music was composed by me:
A trailer I made for the start of my XCOM LP, the first 1:20 is a (heavily modified) voice over set to public domain images of space and a piece of music I composed. After this it fades into a cutscene from the game for which I sadly can't take credit.
A cinematic sum-up of my first episode of XCOM, used as an intro for my second episode to remind the viewer what happened last time. The cinematic is about 3 minutes long comprising of game footage and cutscenes and during the final minute or so another piece of music I composed:
On the music side of things, a "Tetris Anthem" - a composition of the Tetris theme used for a funny montage of me being terrible at Tetris. Here it is isolated:
