Right so I am somewhat of a new person when it comes to let's plays but not to minecraft/tekkit. So anyways the idea is this.
Get like two teams of 3 people(maybe four each) and go through multiplayer survival, one team focusing on magic, one team focusing on the machinery aspect of tekkit. Then over time see which team can get the end game items first(for mechs the quantum armor and nano saber plus mining laser and for mages the abyss helmet, infernal armor, gravity greaves, and hurricane boots, plus red morning star and red katar.) Now the challenge obviously being survival mode and working together in your teams. each team would get a section of the world, not measured out but like maybe just several hundred meters away, or maybe across the ocean to prevent clashes over area and materials.
THough there will be a little twist. The game will be using a point system somewhat. It wont have any real effect on the actual outcome of the game, just something to boost team morale. Should two players from different teams ever meet say digging underground, or on land, then they must fight regardless of location and inventory. Though this is more just an idea. If the teams are on different continents then meeting up is very unlikely. Or we could do like a nether arena, since distance in the nether can be so differently travelled, where two players meet in the nether and have to fight. eh that's just a side idea.
Anyways the idea is just as above, two teams survive and the first team to have all it's members with end items wins.

*as it is during the school year most younger players are probably in school, and I would prefer it that people only apply if they are either not in school, or are able to properly manage their time where they can take part in this.

Can you host: As said before I can host if necessary, but I would greatly appreciate it if someone how knows how to properly fix a server so that it has all the proper plugins.
Experience with minecraft/tekkit: Aka what are you good at. Well I mostly play survival mode and am good with redstone and crafting, but cant make potions to save my life. As for tekkit i've got experience in both equivalent exchange and the industrialcraft/buildcraft mods, but nothing past that yet.
