Why hello everyone. Most of you do not know me because I spend most of my time on Planetminecraft instead of Minecraftforums, but I want to offer everyone a chance to have some fun, for a long time!
I'm looking for people who can do Let's Plays with me, preferably long-term, using all kinds of mods, maps, and plugins, to make our channel extra fun and just plain awesome!
Although I'm pretty easygoing, some things that have caused my previous lets plays to fail are, cheating, trolling, spamming, laziness, different time zones, and/or idiocy
Because of this, I am stepping up my criteria and requirements for applications submited
This does not mean I want excessively long, detailed applications, but I want serious applications that took time to think over, and effort to write!
Below are several spoilers, including criteria, the application format, and example application, and more!
Requirements
-Skype is the main requirement, along with Minecraft. We need to be able to hear your voice, and be able to communicate with you easily!
-Minecraft is of course required
-A good computer with little or no lag (If you really want to join and meet all other requirements, we can discuss what amount of lag is excusable)
-A good quality microphone is very important. Feedback and background noise can kill a lets play, no matter how good the editor is
-Being over 14 is very important. Occasionally if I see a good app but someone who is only 14 I will accept them, but anyone under 14 is strictly forbidden
-Sort of a sub category to being over 14, you need a relatively deep voice. I don't mean that you need the voice of a football player on steroids, but squeakers are strictly forbidden
-Being in the same timezone or a relatively close time zone is vital. I can't count how many times I have had to trash a recording because a partner had to leave due to time difference
-Free time during the weekends is important. I don't mean you always have to be free, but if you're busy the majority of the weekend almost every week, then that is a huge problem and I cannot accept you
-Last but not least, I understand that people have requirements like chores, homework, and family, but PLEASE make sure you can have large chunks of time available before recording! Something you can do to help with this is asking parents for chores before recording, finishing your homework, and going to an isolated room and locking the door. MAKE SURE YOUR FAMILY AND/OR FRIENDS KNOW YOU ARE RECORDING
I cannot count how many times I have had moms burst in on friends, or people wanting to hang with my partners
I understand this is asking a lot, but that's the point! I need loyal partners who are willing and able to do lots of videos. I don't like comparing to Yogscast as that can turn away lots of potential Lets Players, but that's the kind of team I'm looking for

Hi there, Just saying that I have been looking for a let's play partner for a while now as well but I have been looking at Vechs' map; Waking Up (One of the Super Hostile Series) which is fairly new and very popular so should get a good bulk of views straight out the box if we started a play through because of it's freshness. Oh and I also have an external server which I run my own servers off which i can dedicate maximum 3GB of RAM to which is plenty for a let's play. I recently held a Tekkit server and Tekkit as you may know contains about 41 mods and it handled that with no lag on 2GB of RAM for 3 people. I'm looking for people who can do Let's Plays with me, preferably long-term, using all kinds of mods, maps, and plugins, to make our channel extra fun and just plain awesome!
Although I'm pretty easygoing, some things that have caused my previous lets plays to fail are, cheating, trolling, spamming, laziness, different time zones, and/or idiocy
Because of this, I am stepping up my criteria and requirements for applications submited
This does not mean I want excessively long, detailed applications, but I want serious applications that took time to think over, and effort to write!
Below are several spoilers, including criteria, the application format, and example application, and more!
Requirements
-Minecraft is of course required
-A good computer with little or no lag (If you really want to join and meet all other requirements, we can discuss what amount of lag is excusable)
-A good quality microphone is very important. Feedback and background noise can kill a lets play, no matter how good the editor is
-Being over 14 is very important. Occasionally if I see a good app but someone who is only 14 I will accept them, but anyone under 14 is strictly forbidden
-Sort of a sub category to being over 14, you need a relatively deep voice. I don't mean that you need the voice of a football player on steroids, but squeakers are strictly forbidden
-Being in the same timezone or a relatively close time zone is vital. I can't count how many times I have had to trash a recording because a partner had to leave due to time difference
-Free time during the weekends is important. I don't mean you always have to be free, but if you're busy the majority of the weekend almost every week, then that is a huge problem and I cannot accept you
-Last but not least, I understand that people have requirements like chores, homework, and family, but PLEASE make sure you can have large chunks of time available before recording! Something you can do to help with this is asking parents for chores before recording, finishing your homework, and going to an isolated room and locking the door. MAKE SURE YOUR FAMILY AND/OR FRIENDS KNOW YOU ARE RECORDING
I cannot count how many times I have had moms burst in on friends, or people wanting to hang with my partners
I understand this is asking a lot, but that's the point! I need loyal partners who are willing and able to do lots of videos. I don't like comparing to Yogscast as that can turn away lots of potential Lets Players, but that's the kind of team I'm looking for
