I've always been interested in doing a lets play of Minecraft because it's been my favorite game for over a year now. I've always held back on doing one because I know my voice isn't really right for doing a lets play (speech impediment...)
In 1.3, I can find a way around that by using the chat feature. I was wondering if people think this would be boring or unique and enjoyable.
some other minor details about what I would do in a lets play
*Use my own seed and not give it out so that my viewers couldn't tell me "Go to coordinates... to find the stronghold!"
*I would use large biomes so that I would actually have a good use for making maps.
*The only mod I would use would be optifine and I probably wouldn't hit Ctrl to zoom at all.
*I'd use faithful texture pack.
*I wouldn't abuse mob spawners to get infinite ammounts of mob drops/xp or try and farm villagers for easy trading. In my opinion, Minecraft is only difficult when you let it be.
*Every episode would be between 10 and 20 minutes. I'd try to keep things consistant though.
*I would accept viewer requested challenges within reason.
I just wanted to know what other people thought about these considerations..
The chat box part would be a good way to replace the constant talking of most videos, but the "Let's Play" videos for Minecraft are things that have been done so many times, so you might need a miracle or two for yours to rise above (or close to) the other ones.

Well, I wouldn't really mind if it never approached the level of the popular lets plays as long as there are people who would enjoy it. I'm wondering if the absence of commentary could be filled by typing in the chat box.
hmmmm sounds very fun and even if you have a speech problem just let people know in the beginning of video and go on with life i have 3 friends with speech problems as well and maby i can have a fourth. i dont look at the problems in life i look around them (Except for death its my #1 fear FYI) and i would LOVE to look forward to a lets play and when you feel like to sticking to typing thats ok i wont judge we just can build and mine and all the lets play stuff and im imperfect also. i have depression so i dont like to talk as well at times. and please i would Love to do this lets play with you ASAP
