I have been on YouTube for quite some time now. I always find myself doing single-player things, never co-op. I run a fairly small channel that hasn't really had much uploads recently. I've stopped recording because I'm trying to get a new computer (My current one SUCKS).
I am going to start a coop channel called "GeneratorGaming." I need 2 or a few more people to join me on this channel. There are a few rules you will need to follow, though:
1) I don't do the whole swearing thing. Please don't curse on any of the videos.
2) Until I can get a new computer, I won't be able to record. Someone else needs to volunteer.
3) Though I haven't put an age limit on this, I don't want any too-young children or childish adults. We are mature, sensible people.
4) Put "Turn on the Generator" in your app.
5) Humor that can be executed without cursing (as in rule 1) would be desirable. Think 'deadworkersparty'.
6) You don't need to have a mic and speak, but it would be preferred. If you don't have any way to speak, you must be able to at least hear us and talk via the chat (hence, you need Skype).
7) It would be preferred if your timezone is or is near to UTC -5:00 (Eastern Standard Time (Florida, New York, etc.)). If not, it's OK, we'll just have to work around it.

This leads me to our most important topic: Who is hosting the server? Unfortunately, I can't due to my computer being crap.
As mentioned before, i can't record. I think my computer is one of the worst things in pc gaming history. It's a laptop, and it's specs are pretty decent (2 GHZ single core processor, 2 GIG ram) But the only reason everything lags for me is the HORRIBLE video card.
If it's your video card that makes you lag, does that mean hosting a server might not be a problem?
By the way, 20 FPS is pretty good. That's around what I get and it seems smooth to me. If you haven't already, try installing Optifine. It really helps.
