Alright, we're looking for some applications for our lets play. This will take place in tekkit as well as other mods and games. Even some good old fashioned adventure mapping. We are currently exploring storyline. As such we will continue to experiment with different ideas until we find what best suits our particular talents. As such we are taking in applications to find players that will fit in best with our group. There are some requirements and an audio sample that must be completed in order to better understand you, the applicant. This will also give us a good reference to your personality and the quality of your microphone.
Requirements:
You must be around the age of 22 or older. applicants around the ages of 14 will not be accepted. Although those around the age of 17 will be taken into consideration if they prove themselves on other parts of the application. ( “I’m mature for a 12 year old” will not help your case. Neither will “I'm not like the other 12 year olds”)
You must have teamspeak 3. It is important that we can record your voice in the videos. We are not making silent films.
We use skype as a way to keep in contact with each other. Having skype is a bonus. if we send you a message that you have been approved for an interview we will ask for your skype name and contact you.
Obviously you need a microphone/headset. We would prefer to not have audio feedback.
You need to record a short segment on http://vocaroo.com/ You can either say somthing about yourself, say something about minecraft in general, or just read your application. Rick Astley need not apply.
You need to be a vocal person. That means you can't be overly shy. Don't worry we will be talking a lot before any recording so you will get to know us. So if you're one of those people who are just camera shy and afraid to speak up then we can't help you.
you need to have a working knowledge of minecraft, and a basic understanding of tekkit is a bonus. We will be helping you if needed. Although we will not hold your hand. You know what google is. We shouldn't have to tell you how to do everything. We won’t be hard on you either.
You must not suffer from anger management problems. If getting killed by a creeper throws you into emo mode and you log off. Don't bother applying.
The recording window start at 5 central usa time. They can last off and on until 6am the next morning. Does this mean you have to be there the whole time? No. We record off and on during the afternoon into early morning. If you're around when we need you, we will send you a message through skype.
Your minecraft skin must be either original or non specific. Just like people both hate and love MLP we don’t need to deal with it. Obviously no hitler or offensive skins. If you don’t have an original or nonspecific skin one can be provided for you for you.

Age: 26 IGN: MrDirty Gender: M Location: Louisiana Exp with minecraft / tekkit: I have been playing MC for a couple years and I used to run my own Tekkit server so on a scale of 1-10 Id say Im atleast a 7 with all tekkit mods (excluding RP computers and computercraft) What class are you: Id have to say that I am a mix of most of those, When I start a fresh world my first base is always underground or built into a mountain, then once I have gathered enough materials, I tend to build a fairly impressive structure (impressive to me atleast) to house all my stuff. Admittedly this structure tends to have underground components so I guess I am quite the Mole, I also feel that I will add a bit of comic relief once I am comfortable with the group. What is your favorite mod in tekkit: Don't really have a favorite, but I always focus on IC2 first. Something about yourself: I have a beard, it is very beard like, bask in the radiance of my beard. On a more serious note the main reason I applied was your expected age. I dont really have a problem playing on a server with the kiddies, but it does make me wonder what Im doing with my life sometime when I get showed up by a 12 year old (also why I dont play CoD....it's not fair, I have a job I cant practice all freakin day lol)

Also If I actually do get more involved with this I could get a better mic. Mine is adequate for teamspeak and mumble but I would probably need a better one for professionial sounding audio for your videos. I currently have a logitech g330.
