I don't know what electromite was referring to by 'feeling used', but when I hear 'voice acting tryout', I wouldn't expect to speak a bland line like that... Based around the way your example is spoken, it leaves no room for actual 'acting'. On top of this the recording itself suggests that the audition is for a very minor role, whereas the way you spoke about a "wanted position" suggests a more major role.
More seriously, the recording is of several people speaking - so if you wanted, you could easily abuse the 'audition' files by layering them on top - if you had evil intentions, this 'audition' could have easily gotten you a few extra voices to use.

Well.. sadly we aren't really looking for any major roles at this very moment, and that line will be used in the series at some point(the version only recorded by our major voice actor that is presented); but we have no bad/evil intentions.
That line just includes all the dialog that would be needed of us to hear to get our first impressions, if we were to use any additional voices we would ask the person applying for their permission to record a line from them(and credit them for it); we wouldn't just use it without their consent :3
I'd love to see some actors to help me out and take some of the load off of my back, I am about to start college and working a job, I might not be as available to help play Rick as much.
