Hey! I'm new here! I want to share some of my lates build on my survival world i've been active on for 8 months now. I created it on version infdev-20100611 and kept updating it every so often. Right now I'm playing on snapshot 12w24, which is the eleventh snapshot for 1.3. I'm aiming to keep it going to the latest full release there will be. I've been also using OBS to document my adventure, and I'm planning to turn it into a video once I'm done playing. The photos should be attached to the post. You can view them as i list them out.
The first photo shows my frame-style house, and a christmas tree decoration, which were my first two projects, when i moved out from my beta base in 1.0 and settled here. I had also built an attic, which i use as a storage room and a basement, where the enchanting table and the nether portal are, as well as my private iron and gold block collection. I had decorated the area surrounding the house with bushes and snow blocks, and planted a couple of spruce trees at the back of the house.
On the second photo, there's an artificial island i'd built to keep livestock there, but now that i'm living off of bread pretty much. It functions as a zoo of sorts. I divided the island into 3 biomes: A typical forrest-like terrain, jungle swamp, and tundra. At the very back, theres a giant squid working as a guard for me, protecting the island. Call him Archizard That small cobblestone building is one of currently four entrances to the underwater station system, which i'd built around my base.
On the third photo, there's my farm, consisting of wheat, sugar canes and cacti. In the background there's the 1.2 monument showcasing the addition of the jungle biome in this version.
The fourth photo shows the 1.1 monument showcasing the newly added superflat setting at the time. This one is visibly smaller than the 1.2 monument, as i didn't have much to work with during this version yet, so i made it humble.
The last photo shows a decorative storage building and that one building, where you cut trees, y'know. I filled the chests inside the storage building with a bunch of wooden stuff for decorative purposes and also put some bushes and piles of logs around the whole area.
I'm open to hearing other's opinions or suggestions if there are any!
