So it's been a while since I've posted anything, mostly inhibited by builder's block finishing up some of the more recent stuff I've made. I'm pretty new to the whole "revealing my creations to the world" thing, which is why it will be cool to reveal what I've been working on for many many caffeine-driven hours of playing. Anyways here's a bunch of stuff that I've been building in my main creative world over the last year or so. (Will be updating with more pictures).
Also message me or comment if you need a builder on your server or just want to play minecraft, I would love to contribute to any major projects or even small stuff. My player name is Kantro.
Also does anyone know how to set up the post to where it's minimized into a clickable Spoiler type thing? Trying to save space as I post everything into this thread.
I also have a more modern wave of builds that I will be posting soon. Lots of houses and other cool things.
Archer's Tower, kinda inspired by dwarven styles of building with the roof cap. One of the first medieval things I started on that has evolved into a particular style across some of my stuff.
Archer's tower built into my Realms world, sitting on a hill. Planning on cultivating the surrounding area into a small village but haven't messed around with it for a while.
Bandit's Keep, has a river blockade for stopping merchants and such. Including a lower level basement for storing loot and an emergency exit for getting away from people, second floor has a bedroom and an empty room that can be used for whatever you want.
Dwarven House, kinda thought this one up playing pokemon in Snowbelle City, all of the homes had an interesting interior and so the inside is kinda modeled off of that. Will post a shot of the inside as it gets more completed.
A tiny Snow Lodge that I built, originally was going to be part of a giant snowglobe snowball arena but that project has yet to be started, first floor includes beds and storage, upper level includes crafting and enchanting room. Basement has an ice cavern that would lead outside or into a mountain range, dunno.
Ground level view
Inside front door, fire place and beds.
A small house that I did, based it off an arched roof and a building style that I've seen common amongst medieval houses. front porch and "basement" level access, third floor can be used as an attic or bedroom area.
Now we get into some of the more larger projects I've been working on. For some reason the farther down the road I go the more elaborate and larger things get, kinda like at the end of this you'll see. One of the things i try to avoid when mapping out the exterior walls is ending up with the windows directly in the corner when seen from the inside.
A more recent apartment complex, 3 floors, 14 rooms on top, mostly unfinished interior. This one doesn't have a name yet. Interior space is mostly left open for people to customize as they like. Following the similar theme of the rest of my buildings its a combination of dark oak roof and stone framing mixed up with spruce wood. Had a lot of fun making this one and went through several redesigns. Originally started off as one tall wall and then used the /clone command to duplicate it repeatedly to create the full shell of the building.
View from the side, trying to wrap around the pattern without breaking how it looked was difficult for a while, and yes, that is a floating island obscured in the background.
A medieval fort that I've been adding detail to for a looooong time. The corner towers have been changed up oh, at least 6 or 7 times over the time spent working on it.
View from the side of the fortress at ground level.
Ariel view from the front.
A shot of the interior second floor in the fortress. Could use some refurbishing and fixes.
Viking Longhouse. Recently redone, had too many weird angles that needed fixing so I ended up rebuilding the whole thing.
Interior. Slight torch pollution but haven't changed the lighting method up yet.
Monastery/Abbey. Trying to have a little bit more free-form in how this one is being built, a lot of stuff I do tends to be symmetrical and orderly while this one is random, makes for an interesting space from the inside.
A weird mini-castle thingy that was an attempt at making detailed walls. Utilizing the patterns from the previous castle.
Lastly, the newest project that I've started on. A cathedral that I've borrowed elements from some of my previous builds to make. This one is going to take some time, so far only two days and a few hours into figuring out the layout of everything and this is where I'm at, contemplating leaving the lower tower at that height but not sure. If you guys have any idea for a name for this one I'm all ears.
Closer view of details.
Here's a random picture of my Koala Bear fortress. The tiny hut on the right was a build by Jeracraft that I replicated from watching one of his youtube tutorials.
If you guys have any suggestions on other stuff you want to see or something just comment below. Would love to get input and feedback. I'll make sure to post interior shots as i go as well. Thanks!!
