I made a website that allows you to create images to be displayed in books either by drawing them out pixel by pixel, or using an image's hexadecimal data.
There is a detailed tutorial on the website itself, I'm mainly posting this just to get it out there. I'm actually really impressed at how well representing images with braille works, it's like advanced, compact, ordered ascii art. Take a look at the website and the PMC post, you'll see what I mean.
