Okay so, the biome spawning code is for the smaller normal biomes right? So what if this world was generated normally, what if that swamp would have been a desert and thus a temple spawned?

I think this is supposed to be a swamp house, but the terrain generation glitched and generated another type of strucutre. This is likely to be the same bug that generates pyramids in jungles.
I had a look myself. I can confirm that this is supposed to be a witch hut (as checked with AMIDST). It appears that the game got confused what it should generate for an unknown reason, probably just because it's Minecraft.
This also happens in the Large Biome version of the seed North Carolina (that is the Demo mode world). You can find a Desert Temple near the Stronghold that is located also in a Swamp Biome. Oh, and Witches also spawn at the Temple too. I once saw 3 Witches at the temple at once! Oddly enough, the actual Swamp Hut that I found in that same area never spawns Witches, and I have re-visited the hut dozens of times now.

Possibly desert temples are coded to spawn on top of sand blocks at a certain height? Looking at how many seeds that have desert temples in jungles, there's definitely something off about desert temple generation.

The witches are either searching for an artifact in the temple or preparing for some occult ritual... Considering witches' main hobby is tossing ouchy potions at benevolent passerbys, it would be a good idea to stop them.
What truely happened was a mage (in general) was playing minecraft and he wanted to summon a swamp house. The summoning messed up and a fortress came out.
Emphasis in the word "desert".
There was a witch in here btw. (Witches can live in pyramids? what?)
The seed of the map is lloll, the coordinates are -213 X 298 Z (Y doesn't matter), in large biomes setting.
