This is my first really large planned construction. I thought of something simple the put in as much detail as I could. It isn't finished just yet, I still working on a pattern for the arms so that they have their natural curve. Flat surfaces=easy 3D not so much. (let's hear a round of applause for graph paper!) I can only Imagine how many rebuilds I would have had without it!
(also my first attempt at uploading pics, obviously!)
Roughly about seven hours, spread out over a week during my spare time, that's after about 1.5 hrs of graph paper doodling just to get everything placed properly.
Only one fall to my death, a personal best.
Or you could just do this in creative mode and building will be easier... And no dying
Now where's the fun in that?
I know it probably would have been faster in creative, but I like the challenge, fear of death and all that,
plus it keeps me on my toes!
Although I wouldn't recommend building anything large and detailed in any mode other than peaceful .(all those explosions, pets die just cause they try to help, family members no longer want to be in the same room with you ) it's very stressful, and one of the leading causes of divorce!

Adventure Time inspires some sweet sculptures, and I'll admit I wish someone would/could make a BMO IRL
BTW what's the inside look like? I think detailing that would be the only way to add to this guy.
