Do you think you could give us a little demo of like 2 zones it could be Elwynn Forest and Durotar.
I had been planning to release the whole map after making a few additional revisions, but I'm going to be tied up with some unpleasant work for the next month or so, meaning I can't spend much time on it.
These are really good and I must say you've done quite a great job on capturing the details.

Hopefully we can see this project done and ready to download by September, been watching this project for months now.
I won't be able to dedicate much time to it until after Sept 24th. Even then, I want to adjust the algorithm slightly and do a fresh render, which might take more than a week depending on how dramatic the changes are.
After those changes are done, I plan to release the maps in a fashion tbd, and any additional changes will be made via patches. The patching process will allow revisions to specific blocks, leaving any human-edited blocks unaltered. This will also allow people to merge forked versions of the map, if such a need arises.

Just saying that's pretty interesting =P since Mists of Pandaria comes out on the 25th of September ^.^
I have a suggestion. Instead of releasing the map for public download at the risk of others claiming it as there own stealing rights blah blah blah. I think that you should make this into a server. You could be the host of the most famous server in Minecraft! You my friend, would be a legend.
I'm setting a tentative release date for October 9th; the map should be available to everyone on that date, pending any last-minute delays. This should give me enough time to make the changes I need to make, and should give World of Warcraft fans a couple weeks to enjoy Mists of Pandaria, which comes out on September 25th.
October 9th will be a beta release; I reserve the right to make changes to the map after that date. As much as is possible, I will try to release these changes in the form of a patch, which will only modify the blocks that have been updated. This means you can start working on the map as soon as it's released, without worrying about your changes being wiped out by a later update.
The delivery method will be a 1-2GB file available via BitTorrent. It will contain highly compressed map files for Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor, plus two essential plugins for running a Bukkit server. There will be no plugin support for single-player at release. If the October 9th release goes smoothly, I plan to release Outland a month later.
