Well I've finally built my world enough to show it off. Its no where near the best out there but I think its decent. Everything was hand built with no mods. The only things ive done to the game were installing a texture pack. This was my first survival world that I started about 4 months ago. So on to the pics!
dont have many atm was in a rush to get back to work so ill snap more tonight.
sorry for the fog i usually take my screen shots with the max distance and when im playing i play with normal distance.
also i know its mainly the same materials but when i build i make the area how i like it then go back and add in the cosmetics.
now on to my creative builds
this is a port ive been working on havent done much lately got bored with it.
this is the church for the port
and the inside of the church
this is my latest project ive been working on
found these on google so i tried to make it. its not exactly the same but i think its turning out nice. once i finish the shape ill go back and add in the cosmetics.
thanks for looking :smile.gif: im open for ideas and suggestions.
yeah im going to fix it..like i said i make the buildings in the general area then go back and add in different materials once i get a idea of what i want it to look like. i only use cobble because its easy to get in survival and i always have a bunch stored up.. ive already started the interior of the castle on my survival world
Edit: also the castle is made of mostly stone brick but this texture pack makes cobble and stone brick look alike
in the process of gathering all the materials i need to go back and replace all the cobble. once i start work on it ill post pics the cobble was only temporary
Edit: if anyone has any suggestions as to what i could use to make it look better please tell me
well here are some more pictures of my survival world
started working on the interior of the castle.
the floor in the main room of the castle
this room is below the main floor in the castle. not sure what it is yet but i like how it turned out.
this is my sheep farm. i have every color sheep except for brown
another random house it looks like one of the houses from skyrim that someone built on the forums. just added my own touches to it because i liked the way it looked
you can see here where ive started working on the cosmetics and replacing the mass amounts of cobble
this is to the right of the castle it was my starting house when i found this area.
and in the same area is the market. its still a WIP
this is at the end of the long tunnel thats in the pic two pictures up
nothing special atm cuz im not sure what im going to put here yet.
another cut through to my main area
this is my mining house below it is my portal to the nether and two decent size quarries.
the quarries
and my portal
did a little work this morning on replacing the cobble not sure if im going to like how it looks or not. still a WIP
if you turn around in the picture above you will see my train station.. nothing fancy but its what i used to connect my areas together since they are pretty spread out.
this is the inside of the train station. like i said nothing fancy yet
on the railway to my older village
this was the first village i made on survival.
up just a ways from the village is a snow biome i made a small little cabbin because i was going to make a town on this biome but it ended up being really small so i moved on to the plains that the previous village is in.
when i started exploring from my spawn point i made a path where ever i went so i wouldnt get lost..just a random picture of some pumpkins that i can see from the path.
they are kinda hard to see pretty much in the middle of the picture between the mountian and the trees.
this is the view from the path as you enter my starting area. main reason i left is because after the release the area became a horrible looking swamp biome.
found a tutorial on the forums on how to build this house
was my first decent looking house i made.
this is the basement
and this is below the basement
farm, tree farm, cobble stone generator and mines with an abandoned mine connected to it.
this is the first cobble gen that i made that was my own design
above view of the farm..only a chicken and one sheep lol.
i really screwed up the landscape here lol
and this was my starter home that i made..not sure what i was trying to do but i never finished lol
this is to the right of my first house just a cave base
Amazing! I love it, this has giving me a ton of inspiration for a new world. I like the giant wall you made around the village.
Are you using each of the building for something, or are they just for show?
Question though, the opposite side of the wall, along the mountain, arnt you worried about baddies coming down the hill and invading your village at night? or are you on peaceful?

i use the different houses for different materials..one house has my wood items plus axes n such.. the long looking house near the water has the entrance to my mines plus a whole room just for smelting and chests for tools. and i kinda like the hill because a bunch of mobs do come down it and it helps to get xp for enchants and other items. eventually i will put something there but for now its a easy way for me to get xp

Uh very cool, makes sense.
Ya I guess it would be fun as well, defending your village from the invaders each night :biggrin.gif:

my minecart station at my starter area.
put some birch wood on this house to change it up some
still need to finish putting buttons on the wood but its pretty much done
let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.
rugs to some houses
made this area into a tree farm till i can figure out what to do with it
stupid creeper blew up my tracks so i need to find more gold so i can fix it
havent really messed with the castle side of my area much. i tend to work on this side because i like it more for some reason.
finished adding the wood in the wall and added some shrubs around houses and down the walk way.
looking at the small trees going down the path
and another view
some bushes i added around the houses
added a new floor to my main house.
just a chest and a bed up there
put some carpet in my enchanting room
added a door in the wall so i can start to expand some on the fields that are on the other side
this is the exit to the other door in the pic above
and a view of the fields that i will expand on
added some lanterns around the whole area. finally found a decent supply of glowstone in the nether.
another over view of the area
and some night views
still not sure if i like that many trees on the walkway may take out a few i cant decide if it looks crowded or not
thanks for looking. i love feedback and let me know of anything i can improve.
