Thanks for taking the time to keep us all updated. A friend and I are interested in working on some of our own survival mega-builds, so this was a big inspiration to us.
I am following this thread because I am interested in Swervish's castle build. If I want to see your build, I will go to your thread. Let's keep it that way. Give me a good reason why I shouldn't report your post as spam.
Awesome. You should try and furnish every room like the ones that are furnished in the actual castle. Only about 3 rooms have tables, chairs, etc. Nice work.
I realize this post is old, but i've had it bookmarked for a few months.
I recently made a trip to the Alps in Deutschland this past month, and had a chance to see Schloss Neuschwanstein in person, even took the trouble to take a picture touching the bricks! Seeing how large it was from so far away, and how magnificent the design is, it gave me alot of appreciation for how long Swervish took to build this from a pretty vanilla flavor. It also made me appreciate Minecraft that much more. So, thanks for dedicating so much of your time to this project, and thanks to the Minecraft Team for making this game awesome.
Swervish, you sir are a Minecraft god. Your build and my recent trip to Rome inspired me toward my own epic build. I've not got the layout or blueprints so I had to rely on someone else's design. But in true Swervish style I AM doing it all in survival. Good job on the castle. I will defiantly be following your future works. Thank you for your inspiration.

Now I have to do a bigger castle
You can check it out so far at the ip pvp.atercraft.com
Would the Marble Block in the Red Power 2 mod work? I think it's pretty stylish.
