I don't know why I haven't actually said it yet, but daaaaaamn Neptune is beautiful. Perhaps every time I've looked at it before my mind has been blown so much that it couldn't tell my fingers to type. Something like that anyway!
Seriously, I think that's the prettiest minecraft ship I've seen thus far. The stern especially, I love it.
Hi people! I'm from Russia, thanks to the Creator of the theme I have built here is such a ship This is a military brig Raven, was made on the basis of the drawings of one of the Russian Brigs Sorry for my English
Hey, Sillouete! why is this topic quiet for so long?
I was inactive for about 5 months, and now I'm slowly coming back. haven't done a ship in a while. I actually started making houses and other things XD

But I'll throw in a ship soon enough!
It pleases, because it does not see the new creations, almost the same as not to breathe Waiting for new works, impatiently)
Very cool! I built a ship based off your War Brig (but a bit smaller) on a survival server this past weekend. The sails took over 13 stacks of white wool!
I was wondering if you could give me some tips I've reviewed the tutorial. I can't follow through with it because either my sister is down my throat to turn off my xbox or some else uses the household laptop.
Hi there, I just wanted to say thanks.
I'm not THAT good in building sail ships and your Rum Runner was almost perfect for my plans <3
I built 3 of them:
The one in full sails and the one in the harbour are basically an inversion of your colour scheme to make a civil variant of my own military design (last picture, the swan cruiser), the insignia on the sails are sindarin currency symbols (LotR mod).
Please note that the unfurled sails one lies deeper in water because it's fully loaded. (I love such details)
The third one... how to say it... Insurance didn't pay but it became a famous tourist hot spot ;-)
Oh my goodness! This thread inspired me YEARS ago, and I thought I had posted here long before, but I guess not as I read it over just now.
I also wanted to say thank you, even though you seem long gone given the date span of the thread. I made a ship years ago, and I highly referenced some of yours, the Princess Doria in particular, when making it. I first make a creative world as a scratch space so to speak, and made it in steps while referencing yours. While mine came out nowhere near as good, I think I learned many things that made it look better than I would have on my own. For example, I learned to make the sale poles taller, to have more sails, and to detail for sail ropes (I used fences), all things I'd probably not have done otherwise, and I think it made for a far better end result.
Doing that wasn't much effort (especially with yours as reference/inspiration). Replicating it in my survival world multiple times, however, was infinitely more so.
Something else I always wanted to do in my older world (not this one) was make an airship, but I... never got around to it, even to this day. Part of the reason is lack of creativity on how to make it. I also love this...
...And while I'm wanting to do something larger scale eventually, that might be a better reference for me to try and create something smaller to get me comfortable with it.

I'm equally impressed with your docks as I am the ships (and the swans are cool). I tried making cranes too, and ultimately the docks didn't quite turn out as well as I had imagined before I even know where I was going to build any, but I was still happy with them in the end.
Your pictures also remind me we really need a White color wood added to the game. I like how you used that for yours.
Just a little pirate ketch I threw up in a couple of days. Now back to design a real boat for next year engineering competition

Which one of your ships is the longest?
What is the step by step process for building a ship like this? Is there even one? How long does it usually take to build a medium sized ship?
