Hope you guys aren't getting bored of interior shots! xD Currently have 2 floors to go yet, finished the third floor today, it's a giant master suite.
Outside, where the spiral stairs comes out:
Bedroom:
(cauldron sink ftw! just updated to 1.0.0 :tongue.gif:)
Small private dining area (library in background):
The other stairwell, currently being worked on:
This connects levels 1-3 of the building. Level 1 will be a giant awesome kitchen, level 2 will be miscellaneous rooms (suggestions needed!), level 3 is the suite, level 4 is the entrance and dining hall (normal ground level), and level 5 is the ballroom and general party area.
Oh, and I need suggestions for the darn temple, I ran out of ideas on it!
Plugging away at the interior, worked on some hidden areas that I'm not going to show, I'll let you all find them when I release the map. :tongue.gif: Other than that, finished the 3rd floor and worked on the second floor, not sure what to put in the rooms though. Started working on the basement kitchen also. (well, ok, all I added was the giant ale dispensers.. lol)
Lounge area:
3 empty rooms here, plus a small library:
Gratuitous pretty sunrise shot:
lol @ the cow photobombing the last one, just realized he's there.
awesome man, when you're finished with it you should update the original post with some of the newer ones (all might take a while to load), so that people don't need to scroll through however many pages this will have when its finished.
^That's why I included a handy gallery link in the OP. :wink.gif: (it was kinda hidden, I put it up top now)
Palace interior is more or less finished, I'll probably leave the rest of level 2 empty for now since I have yet to have any brilliant ideas on what to put there. Finished the poolside part of level 2 and the level 1 kitchen, as well as a few odds and ends elsewhere. Pictures!:

What do you guys think of the lighting in the drop ceiling of the kitchen? I was going to have the lights recessed into the ceiling but I kinda like the look of them how they are now. Kinda gives it that can light look.
Quick I'm-tired-because-of-stupid-christmas-rush-at-work update.. Started working on a ship that will be in the ocean beside the currently non-existant docks. Working on another map due to the fact that it will be sitting in water, and you can't build a ship in the water. :tongue.gif:
Chesham, first off, beautifully and amazingly done on this. I was really psyched about exploring this map after watching the progress of this on this thread. But I was even blown away while looking around the map, because its 5 times better than the pictures led me to think it already would be. To highlight a few things that stood out to me:
The excellent use of the texture pack
I really like DokuCraft Light, especially the colors. I used it on a recent megabuild of mine. But in some cases the blocks are made to look very different than they normally do, and I had trouble making use of some of the texture pack. But you did an excellent job of making use of it. I especially like how you did the wall around the temple
The garden
The sprawling layout of the garden makes this really good. And I like the little empty buildings spread around it. I presume they're empty because of the lack of interior design you cited earlier? And the hole (for lack of a better term) with the walkway over it and water falling down into the bottom was cool, especially since there's a tunnel to get to the bottom on the lower sections
The Palace Pool
This is probably the best looking pool I've seen yet in Minecraft. The design on the bottom is excellent, and the multiple vantage points by which to see it are a nice touch. I particularly liked the door at the bottom of the pool, and the window looking into it from the kitchen.
Thank you for all your work on this map! I've thoroughly enjoyed watching you build this, and I'm sure I will spend quite some time walking around the map admiring it. If I have any inspiration about how to use some of the unused interiors, I'll be sure to send you some screenshots, if not an updated version of the map.

Yeah, I pretty much love dokucraft, it's the only texturepack I use. Any empty building that you see is empty because I hate doing interiors. :tongue.gif: Thanks for the kind words! Like I said, I enjoyed posting updates here and getting feedback from everyone, it made me feel more like working on it.
My next project is a terraforming project I've been putting off for a while, I may make a WIP thread for that too, just so everyone can see how ugly stuff looks when it's being terraformed. xD
look under your letter it says somethin where do u make that?
This is probably the most amazing build I have ever seen, and I've seen some pretty awesome stuff. I commend you sir.
