I recently started working on the spawn village for my friend and I's server we're starting. Here's a few screenshots. I'm running low on ideas of buildings/architectural design. If you guys have any feedback (good or bad) I'd love to hear it!
The buildings i have so far:

The Clock tower (I might redo it):

Let me know what you guys think! I'd love some ideas if you have any!
I really like the tower you made! Not too sure what you want your players to do in this "town" although it seems to be coming along quite well. Maybe add a little hotel looking thing, that could be cool. Kind of like a place where all the players can have their own little room to store their stuff. Maybe even a big collective bank so players can put all their excess materials in it for everyone to be able to use? Good luck.

It'll have server run shops, vaults, announcements, etc. We'll have plug-ins so there's a purpose to all the buildings.
The buildings look great, but the entire area looks a tad too...Flat. Sure, a flat surface looks clean and easy to build on, but it also makes things appear a bit unnatural. But depending on what direction you're going to take constructing things, you could pull off keeping the area flat without too many people noticing.

Thanks, I know it all looks flat. I'm trying to keep things simple to find. Thanks for the idea! I'll look into doing some terrain sculpting.
It looks a bit silly because most of the buildings are on one side of the street and there is one building on the other, but other than that nice work.

Click Here to play Connors Zombies!
Thanks!
Anyway, the town look very nice, maybe you could build a well, or a chapel or something.
Yup, I got tired of it and changed it though.

Yes, exactly this. Also include a chest with books, so people can join along in reading about the great god Notch. :tongue.gif:
I really don't think he's that great. He's a guy who made a video game. Big Whoop. I enjoy the game, not the creator haha.
Thanks!
