Don't ask how long it took to farm all those sheep. :blink.gif:
Organized storage facility in the basement.
It also includes a fully functional stone quarry based off of a remote island.
I also built a barn area for keeping my animals.
And a shot the inside.
Oh and did I mention that the whole thing was built legit? No map editors, inventory editors, fly mods, etc. were used in the construction of this map. :smile.gif:
You're an asshat. In minecraft you spend a portion of your day running from a fast walking exploding plant thing, zombies, and skeletons. Chickens are born as adults out of smashed eggs. There are blocks that if set ablaze, will burn until the universe ends.
How does any of that make sense? Plus cobblestone looks good as a roof when done right. In this particular example I don't think it was, honestly.
But look at this building:
Cobblestone roof looks good.
OP: change your roof up to not look like one giant piece of cobble was draped over a building. Give it support, and diversity. I still hate this texture pack.
Why do people insist on using Cobblestone for roofs? You use it at the base of a building for stability, however. Gravity will cause cobblestone to crumble into small pieces of stone and dust. If you haven't gone outside your entire life, this is cobblestone IN THE REAL WORLD:
You people make me sick.
Other than the roof making absolutely zero sense, it's actually a pretty cool house. Altough for the balcony I would suggest removing the top log blocks and placing planks on them. Making it look like the logs hold a plattform of planks up. And I would make a 1 block high rim of cobble at the base of the building between the logs. Trust me.
Francis, I think you should lighten up and offer constructive suggestions if you feel the need to get all flamey etc.
Oh yeah this is merely a video game with a very limited palette of textures to choose from.

I nearly did what you suggested, but got a little lost exploring, and never got around to it.
Thanks for the criticism btw, it may be strange, but I like criticism. :smile.gif:
The update messed up the biomes in my previous house so I started over again from scratch.
Texture pack used: Omegacraft
A general overview of the exterior.
A view of the interior.

Thanks, I'm quite proud of it myself.
Too long :wacko.gif:
Thanks BTW. :smile.gif:

"Look at me still talking when there's science to do. When I look out there it makes me glad I'm not you."
Here's one of my builds with that kind of roof.
