I don't even like the modern Apple Inc. but this is pretty sad regardless, especially since the early Steve Jobs was an amazing person. He did some great things in his life, even if some failed (Apple LISA, NeXT, ect.)
I wouldn't consider NeXT to be a failure. The company was acquired by Apple in 1996, and their OpenStep framework formed the foundation for Mac OS X, which has been a huge success for Apple.
i use pcs and always will but i still know how important he was to the development to computers and to the entire world it is very very sad that he is gone and he will be greatly missed

True, I think I was scrambling my thoughts there, intending to put something else and putting what was on mind instead. My dad had a NeXT and I had always loved it as a kid. PSU died on it though so we had to get rid of it.
Speaking of which, what the heck was I thinking of at the time? Apple III? sounds reasonable
Honestly I'm not a huge fan of Apple's at all, but regardless it's sad to see Steve Jobs go. He was a good man, very creative, and he managed to make one of the world's most popular companies. So kudos to you Steve, rest in peace.

I'm jealous...I always wanted a NeXT box back in the day. I've never even seen one first-hand.
Apple's had a couple flops over the years. The Apple III was one of them, later the 20th Anniversary Mac, later the G4 Cube. All their coolest designs just never sold well.
A+ comic btw, me and my roommates got a good laugh out of that.
I did a similar thing, but I battled my way through a stronghold, dying twice, to get them.
1up'd
so did my mac laptop battery, lol
Apples are in strongholds now? Cool, I didn't know that...I thought they were still unobtainable unless you killed Notch.

See this xkcd comic
"sometimes, wizards are so awesome, it hurts"
Writing this from a MacBook.
