Minecraft has been deleted on my computer so many times and I've gone through about 3 different account so the oldest current one that I have saved right now is one from early 2013. I was taking a picture for a server. Despite this not being very old, it does bring back some amazing memories of having fun with some old friends on previous servers. Thank for bringing this up.
My oldest picture:
I don't even have this world any more. I built a home on top of a mountain but got tired of keep going up and down said mountain for resources, so built stairs. Instead of building on the outside of the mountain though, it actually went ito it. The stairs became so long I nicknamed them the "Stairway - to HELL."
My main world, and still is today, back in the beginning:
Been rocking the same world since last March. This isn't my first, but the first picture that shows anything. It took me a couple weeks before I figured out how to do screenshots at all. The second picture and third is how the same room appears now.
I got a 1.0.0 Minecraft screenshot about a pumpkin seed, but it was in piscasa and I lost the account. Soon I joined imgur and this is the picture I found in 1.2.5, about a spammer on a server I played
First world. I made it almost 3 years ago. I obviously took this later on, because I never thought of taking pictures back then. The three stone towers were the first buildings I ever made.
These are the oldest screenshots that I took which still exist:
This is a screenshot of the largest and densest cave system that I found in my first world, even 8 1/2 years later (I originally found it sometime in May-June 2013); I've found larger and denser cave systems but not both on this scale (a rendering of the cave system, the densest area is about 120 blocks long), fitting for the thread I originally posted it in:
This is the oldest screenshot, dated October 29, 2013, taken while I was actually playing (the one above was taken on a Creative copy), which was from "World1v2" a modded world with bigger and denser cave systems:
Like many others I'd have taken screenshots earlier but none of them exist online and I never saved them on my computer; many of my earliest screenshots were also uploaded using Tinypic, which went belly-up a few years ago and now appear as a generic "image doesn't exist" image (they may exist in archives but the Wayback Machine is unreliable at archiving individual pages, for example, I made a thread about the cave system in the first screenshot earlier but they didn't archive it until 2019, after Tinypic shut down. At least all the ones I posted using Imgur still appear to be up, though the OP of this thread indicates that they can be removed).
This is the first house I've ever made in Survival.
You guys got any Alpha/Creative mode screenshots?
Hey.
aww that sucks dude.
Hey.
It does look kind of buggy though. XD
My first single player world after a couple of months of messing around in it. This is when I learned how to take screenshots

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
