I have a private server, I run it on the laptop. Not dedicated-yet. It's between my husband and myself and a few invited friends, should I remember to give them the updated IP. It is on creative mode, with intent to go survival, but... there seems to always be something I wish to build and not be harassed by creepers. They blew up a part of my castle-fort when I was working away merrily.
My husband does a lot of digging for me, he's the brawn, I'm the creative brains. Although I am having issue wrapping my mind around 3 dimensional pixel art in this world. The Concept of domes and round shapes are eluding me still. I do hope for an epiphany at some point soon on how to do them. I do have some templates to study.
Still there are a couple things that I have created that I am quite pleased with. Such as my ship.
Thing about my ship, is at one point, when I was working on it in single player, was my file got corrupted and I had a billion wolves suddenly spawn and I was not able to kill them. My husband understood my dismay and found the offending area and replaced it was an older save. unfortunately all work in that area was lost, but the ship was saved. Truth be told, that was acceptable loss to me considering the effort I put into the big boat.
I have also discovered I have some sort of glitch chunk. anything going into a certian spot of it, is erased. like it's a do not save zone.
Pirate ship:
(using a seasons mod)
(Same seasons mod)
Boats, ship and volcano... I need to improve the volcano sometime. I have chests of gravel kicking around.
Airship:
My airship needs work. Again as stated above, concept of round eludes me. The inspiration for the airship comes from scourge, in transformers comic hearts of Steel (steam punk transformers) which had some pretty fun ideas for transformers using 1890's tech and some fantasy as they had some anachronisms such as Starscream's plane mode. Long before the wrights brothers. But all the same, much fun. Scourge, who in original series was a sort of space going-soapdish-hovercraft-ufo shuttle. In Hearts of Steel, a blimp. This kinda represents him, albeit badly and not as detailed.
Vos:
I was inspired by great wall and great walled cities mod before I could figure out how to get it to run and spawn some cities on the other side of my minecraft map. I have been working on a Skycity, I named Vos. Vos is a city in the Transformers fandom, that was at war with its neighbour Tarn. They mutually destroyed each other. At some point I will construct Tarn, but not until 1.8 is out.
Vos from the road out of Darkmount.
It's newly built, and heavily inspired by the greatwall mods as stated above. I started construction of Vos a few weeks ago. It's slow going, but I don't mind. Vos also contains a gateway to Aether should I pull the level to single player. Just, when it comes down to it. I build only in multiplayer, So single player tends to not work well for me and a lot of these awesome mods work only in single player.
Portcullis at Vos
Some of my original built ruins.
The not so ruined parts of Vos. Hand built floating platforms.
Couple great wall/city inspired towers
Sky platform under construction. When Mushroom biomes come, Mushrooms will be taken around here. I <3 Mushrooms.
Vos at Night.
Port Village of Cetagon. (mod shots were taken while save was in single player)
Village
Farmhouse with seasons mod
Graveyard. This is where I bury Items from mods, I used so they don't crash my game. Some of them. This is basically where the curious go to find Pandora’s box. Open it, bad things will happen.
Grave yard with seasons mod
Castle of Darkmount:
This is my first Minecraft structure, that gets upgraded from time to time. Not as impressive as its name might try to suggest, but I love it all the same. It is small, but it's my hub of operations. It contains several rail lines, huge forge, huge storage room. Guest room and a big wall. I designated the area within the walls as Polyhex. Deserts...
Polyhex deserts will be eventually all covered in dirt. With huge forests for wood harvesting, planted all over it.
The little Castle with a big name.
Was all sand here once. I covered it in dirt and reclaimed it.
My forge before I expanded to include HUGE storage room.
Nether Portal.
Stables, if I am using mo' animals. Otherwise, my dogs live here.
Wheat Farm (semi Automatic) - Darkmount
Level A
Level B
Level B Harvesting
Other stuff:
Rail line to my obsidian mine. Semi-automatic. I forget who I was inspired by to build this.
Cart waiting to go to the mine depot. We are still working out some kinks.
I've done this in real life... just without the saddle.
(I Hope these are resized)

Anyway...
Just built a windmill. I had some fun and head banging frustration with this. I had a great idea for sails being done with fence, then I realised it was simply just not going to work.

I decided my volcano needed a face lift, so I added more gravel and a crust of dirt, I tried to make it look a bit more cone shaped rather than a half collapsed gravel pile covered in lava. While I was at it, I decided to reactivate my hate for sand and change the underwater sand for dirt, and make a mangrove forest. I extended the trunks into the water and made a sort of weird root system. mangroves have weird roots...stilty, knobby, alien looking things with these breathing tubes....

I just spawned another idea. Not sure if it has been done, but I wondered if leaf blocks would remain underwater. Apparently they do. It's not the best representation of a reef, and the pic is rather dark. But using netherak for coraline encruted rock, spawned sponge, and logs... I might beable to pull off a reef
So: block of wood in the sand, leafblocks on top. give the water some sort of... something. No mods used, simply use the clippers to clip off some leaves, use the logs and underwater plants.

I actually want to do that. But I would need to make a texture pack. Issue I have at the moment is I am not sure what exactly I want. I intend to do the textures myself and build a "new cybertron" things I need to master are domes and whatnot.
